Good morning everyone! As we start our final day at Cherry Deli we would like to thank you all for 17 years of fun memories, 17 years of great food, and 17 years of friendships. The support the last 2 weeks since we announced our closing has been unbelievable and we are so grateful.

Remember that Two Beards Deli and West Side Deli will remain open so when you get that sandwich craving they will be there to serve the same great products.

Hello everyone! Online ordering will be turned off today. We are a little short staffed today and will need to manage orders! Thank you all for the love and support since we announced our closing. Please be patient with the staff if there are longer wait times due to large amounts of orders! Thank you!!

We are sad to share that Cherry Deli will be closing after 17 years of business. The deli was one of the first businesses to locate on the now revitalized Cherry Street. “I wanted to open a business that would be a main-stay for the neighborhood and provide great food,” said Chef Scott Schulz, the genius behind the sandwiches. Unfortunately, Chef Scott was in a debilitating car accident last October. His children, Jacob and Madeline, powered through and kept the deli open through Covid. They will now be attending college this Fall. We love our customers that have supported us through the years. For the foreseeable future, our two sister delis - Two Beards Deli at 38 Commerce SW and West Side Deli in the Bridge Street Market - will continue to remain open. Thank you all for the years of love and support that we have seen from the community. Cherry Deli’s last day will be Friday, September 10th.

All outstanding gift certificates/punch cards will be honored at TwoBeards or West Side deli.

Cherry deli will also be closed this Saturday 8/28 due to lack of staff unfortunately, we will be open 11am-3pm on Sunday!

Good morning everyone! We are looking for someone/an organization to donate some bread to! We got shipped a lot of wrong bread the other day and I would hate to throw it away.

If anybody knows of anywhere we can donate this or if someone wants to pick it up please let us know!

Good morning everyone, once again covid-19 has thrown another curve ball our way. Unfortunately yesterday one of our staff members tested positive for covid-19. We will be staying in compliance with the health department’s guidelines and precautions by closing until the rest of the staff gets their covid results back. As of right now we will be closed until 4/26 but if results come back faster we will make a follow up post.

Covid-19 has been extremely hard for our businesses when these breaks happen. So thank you all for your continued support lately and I know when we return I can count on all of you to give us a warm welcome back. None of us like taking these breaks but it is important to keep the health of our staff and customers in mind. Have a safe week everyone see you all on Monday ❤️😷.

Happy Tuesday everyone! Everyday we are faced with more and more challenges than the last. Unfortunately today one of those challenges is an electrical issue with our front line cooler. Due to this we will not be able to be open today. A technician is coming out first thing tomorrow morning to repair it and we will be open to serve you all at 11 am. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience but we want to make sure we are serving everybody safe food and with our only cooler being down we believe it is best to close.

Cherry Deli will also be closed on sunday for a cleaning and staff training. Thank you all for your continued support we look forward to seeing you soon.

Hello everyone!

We thought it was about time to give you all an update. As most of you know we are a family owned and run business which comes with its own challenges. Our biggest challenge has been trying to fill some big (and we really mean big) shoes over the past six months.

In October, our commander in chief/Owner was in a very serious car accident where he sustained multiple injuries that he continues to recover from.

We want to thank you for continuing to support our delis during what has been our most difficult time to date and to thank you for your patience and understanding as our hours and days we are open may fluctuate some.

We will do our best to post updates on any changes to our normal business hours. Again, thank you for being such great customers and we hope to have things back to normal as soon as possible!

We are having trouble with the consistency of our internet so for the time being online ordering will be turned off. A technician will be out asap and we will make a follow up post when this is resolved! Call in orders are still available at 616-459-6182 or you can place an order in store!
