Beautiful sunset to end the first yoga class of the fall semester! It was beautiful practicing with 20 yogi’s and yogini’s. What a wonderful group, so grateful.

This week marks the end of the summer and I’m sad to see it come to an end. I feel like this has been the most well-attended and successful summer yoga session that I have ever had in all my many years of teaching and I thank you all for all of your support! There’s so much happening in the summer months, and I thank you for spending part of your summer with me!
This Monday we do have yoga class, but we will be off on Labor Day observance of the holiday. This week on Wednesday and Friday, there are no OU classes during the semester break. We resume our Fall session after Labor Day!
Hope to yoga with you all very soon!!!!

🤠Howdy, Y'all. Welcome to the Rodeo. I'm Tex from Texas. Thanks to Almost Home and my lovely foster family for the rescue from the blistering heat down there where I was a stray. I arrived in MI and have adjusted very well

I am an 8-year-old, 15 lbs Schnauzer mix, altered male. My foster mom says I am so handsome, and I clean up really clean up good! I kind of thinks so too. Here is what else my foster mom says about me.

* He looks like a muppet! He’s so cute and gets a ton of attention everywhere he goes
* He’s such a sweet guy and current on shots.
* He has started his heartworm treated and needs to go for short walks and be calm. Almost Home will continue paying for his medical care until he is free of heartworm.
* He’s a lover boy and can’t wait to meet a family of his own.
* He absolutely loves belly rubs! Finally- look how handsome I really am!! I clean up good!
* He is housebroken. Great with the grand kids!

My foster mom says I’m a fabulous dog and will make a family of any size happy, but they have to help me through the nasty heart worm I have (Almost Home will be paying the vet bills). I rest most of the day, I do love a car ride but have to keep my excitement level real low-for now.

Where has the summer gone???
I can’t believe I’m actually saying this, but it’s the final week of Summer Yoga at Oakland University - OURec Center. Then on break until the Fall Semester begins following the Labor Day weekend.
Auburn Hills Rec Summer Yoga continues into September but no class on Labor Day.
Even though summer is coming to a close, we do have an exciting outdoor Doga opportunity with the Amazing Bed & BARKfest and Three Moons Farm next Saturday, August 24th at 11am! Very excited about this!!!

❤️Hello! My name is Rusty. I am a lovable 1 year old, male, Goldendoodle weighing about 75 lbs. I am new to Almost Home and super excited to find my forever home. I am super sweet and full of energy, as Goldendoodles are. I am good with other dogs or cats. Actually, I am very social with other dogs but tend to get a bit jealous if I don’t get all the attention. I might do best in a home as the only pet. I love people but due to my size, I need a home with no children or older children. I am mostly housebroken but had a few accidents while I am adjusting to my new surroundings. I do need exercise daily or have a fenced in yard so I can run. A family that will spend time with me so I can learn some manners and how to be the best dog that I can be.
