cookies are baked fresh to your order date. They are made with quality ingredients and are never frozen. Once they are through the decorating and drying process they are individually packaged and heat sealed. As I work in accordance with the Texas Cottage Food Law*, I am required to place an allergen label on each package. This business card size (2x3”) label also has my contact information in the event of any issue. As far as freshness goes, your cookies will remain fresh for at least two weeks if you keep them sealed in an airtight container and stored in a cool environment. Cookie pricing depends on the size and complexity of the design(s) that you are looking for. Most cookies are in the 3 ½ - 4” size range and start at $54.00 per dozen. Gluten Fee cookies start at $60.00 per dozen. (**Due to rising costs of ingredients, I reserve the right to increase these prices at any time.) Cookies that require multiple colors, fine details, personalization, airbrushing, hand painting or metallic colors are subject to an upcharge that will be determined on an order-by-order basis. Every order is unique so pricing can vary from client to client. The best way to get an accurate quote is to send me a message. Price quotes are good for 30 days and may be subject to change. I will need to know the date and time you are needing to PICK UP the cookies, the quantity, the theme, and any inspirational photos you may have. If you are wanting a character or logo on your cookies, you will need to provide a CLEAN copy of the design you want. I will NOT print copyrighted logos unless you obtain written permission to do so. No changes can be made to an order within one week of the due date. If you need to cancel an order, please let me know as soon as possible. Unforeseen events can happen and I completely understand that and am more than willing to accommodate you. I do my best to match the colors you want so if you have a swatch that is extremely helpful. If you’re wanting the color blush and do a Google search you will find quite the color spectrum. Some of the food colorings I have may say “blush” or “mauve” but once mixed they’re not even close! Currently, I do not have a minimum order amount, nor do I offer a quantity discount. I offer many different quantity options. I offer cookie cards with 2” mini cookies, 2-piece sets, 3-piece sets, 4-piece sets, half-dozens, or whole dozens. Keep in mind that each quantity requires different sizes of packaging and the packaging is included in the price of the cookies you order. For example, If you want 6 2-piece boxes, I cannot offer them to you at the dozen price. Packaging is expensive and I try very hard to find the best possible options available. As mentioned earlier, I follow the guidelines of the Texas Cottage Food Law*. Therefore, I am NOT able to ship cookies. Orders must be for local pick up only in the Austin/Cedar Park, TX and surrounding areas. I do not offer delivery service. Payment is due at the time of order placement. Your payment secures your order on my schedule. I CANNOT HOLD A SPOT FOR YOU WITHOUT PAYMENT. I accept payment via cash, Venmo, Zelle, check or credit card. A minimum of 10 – 14 days notice is appreciated as my calendar can fill up far in advance. However, don’t hesitate to ask in the event that I might be able to work an order in. Depending on the request, there may be a short notice or rush fee that can vary. From mixing the dough to putting the decorated cookies in a box, decorated cookies go through a multi-step process that takes time. ORDERS WITH LESS THAN 72 HOURS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. When submitting a request, please keep an eye out for my reply. The ordering process doesn’t begin when you inquire for a quote and availability – it begins once the details are finalized and your payment has been received. A pick-up time must be established at the time of order placement. Please treat your pick-up time as you would any appointment. If you’re running late, please let me know and we can make other arrangements. Although I work out of my home, I may have plans and appointments. Orders not picked up on time will not be available until the following afternoon. If that won’t work, I will leave your order on the front porch and I will not be held responsible for any weather damage or theft. Once your order is picked up (even by a 3rd party), Nancy’s Cookie Studio is no longer liable for any damage caused by improper handling, transport, or storage. Please do not leave your cookies in a hot car as the icing will melt and smear. For restrictive diets, I have recently added a gluten-free cookie option. I use a gluten-free baking substitute. Please be advised that all of my cookies are prepared in a home kitchen and that I cannot guarantee that cross-contact with other gluten-containing products will not occur. As a result, I cannot recommend my cookies for those with Celiac Disease. The gluten-free cookies are designed for those with minor gluten sensitivities or those who prefer to avoid gluten for nutritional reasons. All of my cookies contain eggs, butter, flour, sugar, and flavorings such as pure almond extract. Royal icing contains meringue powder (egg whites). I also store nuts in my home. For wedding orders, I require a 50% deposit at the time of order placement. Once you have the final count, the remaining balance must be paid 3 weeks in advance of the wedding.
