The Paris Olympics begin today! What competition are you most excited to watch?

Congratulations to Emaleigh for completing her OT program with Mrs. Piper yesterday! 🎉🎓 Great job!

We are not born with the ability to self-regulate. It is important as children that we learn how to regulate our feelings, bodies, and emotions through co-regulation with a trusted adult or caregiver. As adults we must have the tools to self-regulate to be able to co-regulate. Co-regulation looks like building a relationship with your child through connection. Getting eye level (or below) to be with them in their state of emotion and hearing and validating their emotion is a great first step. Providing a warm environment where all feelings and emotions are allowed and sacred also helps children to feel safe in their emotions. The use of a calming corner can help to provide children a safe and structured environment to release emotions and recover from big feelings of upset or frustration. Co-regulation takes two, you and your little one, on the same team.

We are starting a back to school perfect attendance challenge on Monday! If your child attends all of their appointments from 7/22 - 8/16 they are automatically entered into the drawing. Two winners will be chosen at random. Good luck!

The theme for our August drawing contest is "back to school". To participate, kids can submit drawings to the clinic front desk throughout the month of July. Those drawings will be hung in the lobby and posted on social media!

Voting is now open on the July drawing contest with the theme of "Celebrate America". To vote, simply like/heart the drawing you are voting for. Kids can submit drawings for August, with the theme of "back to school" throughout this month.

We are excited to announce our summer perfect attendance challenge winners! The winners will be contacted by phone and can pick up their prizes anytime at the front desk of the lobby. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Frida on winning our June drawing contest! Thank you to everyone who submitted drawings and voted! The theme for August will be "school" and kids can submit drawings through the end of this month.

We had a couple drawings submitted for July, voting for them will begin soon. Please be patient with us on getting the drawings hung, the lobby is currently getting a fresh coat of paint 😀.

Thank you to everyone who came yesterday for our snow cone party to celebrate winning TulsaKids Magazine Family Favorite Place for Pediatric Therapy. We gave out just under 200 snow cones! We would like to thank Patsy's Sno Cones & Catering one more time, who did such an amazing job! It was a lot of fun!

Help us celebrate winning TulsaKids Magazine with free snow cones from 1-4pm! Everyone is welcome! Patsy's Sno Cones & Catering will be serving blue raspberry, cherry, cotton candy, green apple, strawberry, tiger blood, wedding cake, ocean breeze, tropical flamingo, summer splash, and angel wings flavored snow cones!

Last month Zayden graduated from occupational therapy with Mrs. Madeline due to meeting all his fine motor and dressing skill goals! Way to go, Zayden!

We are excited to have Patsy's Sno Cones & Catering at our event this Tuesday from 1-4pm in the TherapyWorks parking lot to celebrate winning best pediatric therapy clinic in Tulsa! They will be providing FREE SNOW CONES to everyone!

We have another graduation to celebrate! Not only did Isabella complete her PT program last year, she continued to work hard and graduated from OT this week! I know some staff and family that are very proud of the growth she has demonstrated! Way to go! 🎉🙂

TherapyWorks offers a multidiscipline approach to feeding and can address feeding difficulties in a wide range of areas and ages.

Summer is a great time to play outside and work on self-regulation through movement and play. Self-regulation is the ability to regulate and achieve an appropriate level of arousal, learn emotional control, and control our impulses to complete daily activities. Here is a list of activities for structured summer and outdoor play time.
