Specializing in light tackle and fly fishing for Striped Bass in Casco Bay.
Little bit of everything today - waking fish, busting fish, and sight fishing. Been a great week of fishing with these guys.
Quick morning scouting with - he had the hot hand but I got the smallest fish of the year on the last cast.
Solo mission - fun fish on 6” herring.
Dialed in
No monsters today but found some snappy fish which is encouraging. Happy 4th y’all!!!
Fish hopefully filling into Casco Bay - between the incessant wind and the spotty fish it’s been work for a while. Had one chance on a big fish today and this guy made it count. Such a memorable eat and fight - will be thinking about this one for quite some time.
Fantastic time with .7 and this morning. Seems like fish are filling in - also good to see some 20”fish around.
I’ve fished more with this guy in the past 5 years than anyone other than my boys. Always so fun and no one likes to fish more than Mr. Igoe. Conditions challenging to say the least but we got a few and almost a pig.
Was great to be back in Maine and fishing with this guy . The Dominican was great but Maine in June is hard to beat. The schedule is getting tight but still a few days open in the next few weeks. Give a call and let’s go fishing.
Had the honor of taking these guys from today. The stories, jokes, and the general love of all things fly fishing make trips like this so fun. A couple of trout guys but they put some in the boat.
Congratulations Munk - we are so proud of the young man you have you have become. So excited for the future before you!!
Staples of the trade - The Dana Jig - don’t leave home without them.
The best way to see out little city - what a gorgeous night!
Gotta be the perfect fish.
What a weekend of soccer!! Both boys played the maximum number is games - both ended in PK’s. One came up on top - one just missed. Both played great and ended the season right. Kris Willette Landry
putting a few in the boat!!
Looks like an early start to the season- June dates getting tight. Let’s catch em up!!
Snow day tying - I’m thinking spring - Mother Nature thinking otherwise. .
It’s a dirty job - nothing nice about dragging across a mudflat - but somebody’s gotta do it.
Happy St. Paddy’s Day from come on down and tip the glass!! Slainte!!
Little more Bucktail and Nayat - pretty cool stuff. Pretty sure this one will fish.
Filling the boxes - in typical random fashion. Messing around with Nayat - new to me - but pretty cool. I’ve tied with a lot of things like it but not completely. Think I like it a lot. Hope it looks good in the water and stripers don’t mind the smell of sheep.
While rain and fog were the name of the game in 2023 there were some gems as there always are. No matter the weather it’s where I want to me - cannot wait to get started again in 2024!!
Thanks to everyone to the fantastic 2023. Look forward to the next - all this weather has me itchy already - never too early to prepare but a little early for the itch.
Shout out to ! Was awesome to get out and get a few sight casting opportunities. Don’t get a lot of bow time so it was much appreciated. Gotta try to get out as much as possible!!
Bulldog for life - but not tonight. Go Rams.
Dodged the storms for dinner at last night. Amazing food, service, and setting. What a spot -put it on the list of you haven’t been. #207
Had the pleasure of meeting and fishing with this morning. Conditions limited the spots we could hit but found some fish. Catching a few was great but the conversation was better. Can’t wait to get down to the Lower Chesapeake to fish with Capt. Wayne again. #207
Not all heroes wear capes. Somewhere sun buffs and sunglasses. Thanks for the sabikis.
