Surgical/Dental assistant wanted in our busy Oral Surgery practice. Positions available in South Jordan and Lehi.

The assistant will directly assist the doctor in surgery, consultations, and the post-operative care of patients in a busy well-established oral surgery practice.

Dental experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. We have a fantastic team and need an assistant who wants to be part of our work family. Typically, patients don’t experience a lot of swelling and go back to work within a couple of days. For a single implant, there’s not a lot of downtime.

After Dr. Price places dental implants, it takes about four months for them to integrate with the surrounding bone. 🦷 This helps to create a strong and stable foundation for your new teeth.

After four months, Salt Lake County and Utah County patients will return to our practice for a checkup. Then, they’ll visit their general dentist, who will place the crowns, bridges, or prosthesis to complete the treatment. 🙂

Dr. Price performs nearly all of his wisdom teeth removal surgeries using IV sedation. You’ll come in for your appointment, relax and fall asleep, and then wake up within about an hour, ready to head home. 🏠

In general, our Salt Lake County and Utah County patients experience most of their discomfort on the second or third day after surgery. One of the best reasons to have the procedure when you’re younger is that patients in their teens tend to heal faster. 😃
