Wise Pines
A sustainable and holistic B&B/ hiker hostel, offering lodging, farm fresh food, yoga, and more!
Just a little reminder that life is pretty special.
There’s something special about that dusk glow.
A long overdue introduction of each member of our tribe of goats, as we have had them for nearly a year now after our gracious friends at have helped us transition from Wise Pines to the Naughty Goat Farm. And we love it. Let’s start with Honey. She is the eldest of the herd, the Matriarch of the bunch, and at nearly 15 years old, still the Head of Troublemakers- always the first to instigate mischief. Prior to our new fence, she was always the first to escape and the last to be coaxed back in. When she leads, the rest follow. She is stubborn, bold and definitely accepting of human interaction.
Stay tuned for more goat introductions.
Treehouse deck hangs. Starting to feel like fall. 🥰
Some new curtains in here really got this place vibin’.
The garden is lookin g quite luscious this time of year.
Zero day .
We didn’t quite know what we were in for when we got goats and we are still figuring them out. And it will certainly be a whole new adjustment when we start breeding and milking them. It’s been so fun to watch these kids be farm kids, to watch our dream as homestead owners evolve and deepen, to see how Wise Pines has turned from a boutique hostel/b&b to that plus a unique farm stay. I wonder what’s next!
The garden is doing some wonderfully gardeny things recently.
Hikers + Bikers = hunger

There is just something so satisfying about color coding your hen’s eggs.
This mountain kicked our ass today. (We are out of shape 😅.) But it was worth it to summit for the sake of solidarity today, hoping for a brighter, and more colorful world out there. Plus it was beautiful and fun. Go to the page and make a donation (this current campaign closes today!) to support anti-oppression and anti-racist efforts in the great outdoors.
May your sunsets be vibrant and your flowers be in bloom. Ours certainly are and we’d love for you to enjoy them with us!

Ohhh the wonderful things you’ll see in VT.
Today we harvested radishes, spinach, lettuce, cilantro, basil & chives and it made me glad. ☺️.
Well ain’t that something. Good night, folks!
Just a nice, peaceful, farms vibe over here.
Shout out to this one! The lady behind your breakfast plates or event snacks & meals. Sometimes the voice behind the phone, the face you see upon arrival and the fancy fold in your towels! Thanks for doing what you do, .
