Story time… Melanie’s Corner Birthday Party Cake truly showcased my skills. Usually, I apply a crumb coat to my cakes a day or two in advance and decorate them the night before. However, this particular cake caught me off guard. I had not decorated it the night before, assuming it was scheduled for delivery on the 17th, not the 16th. I am grateful to my wonderful customer who texted me early in the morning with the delivery address. I panicked, but I sprang into action and got to work, and this was the result. In all honesty, I will never again fail to set an alarm or follow up with my customers as diligently as they follow up with me. As we move into the new year, I want to express my gratitude to Mandy for her patience and to all of my other customers. Thank you.
