I instruct 6 week "Sign, Say, & Play" classes, 1 time "Parent Workshops." For children ages six months to two years and the parents/caregivers who love them.
BABY SIGNS Program is proven to decrease frustration for babies and parents, enrich relationships, boost emotional development, and raise IQ by helping babies "talk" sooner. Using the BABY SIGNS® Program gives babies a way to “talk” with their parents before they can talk. Babies can communicate about the world around them long before they have mastered their verbal speaking skills! Babies and the
ir parents can use simple signs to communicate important things – like being hungry or thirsty, hot or cold, afraid or sad--often a full year before babies could otherwise speak. Research has proven that using the BABY SIGNS® Program has dramatic benefits, including decreasing frustration for babies and parents, enriching the parent-child bond, boosting emotional development, helping babies talk sooner--even raising IQ. Sign, Say, & Play™ Class is a six-week series-offering parents & babies a fun environment for learning all the basics of signing! The combination of rich classroom experience and the proper tools for learning at home give you & your baby a great start in a loving and supportive way. Class Fee includes the Sign, Say & Play™ Kit, which includes 5 Baby Signs® Resources to make signing at home fun and easy! ($25 registration fee, $100 tuition that includes $50 kit)
BABY SIGNS® Parent Workshop is a one-time (90-120 min) class especially designed for parents of children from birth to 24 months. You will learn all you need to know to begin signing with your baby at home. Early childhood educators, parent educators, social workers and health specialists are also welcome. The price of this hands-on, fun workshop includes the Baby Signs® Complete Starter Kit, to help you incorporate what you learn in class into your daily routines with your baby. ($50-$39.95 kit only available at workshop included)
