I have to think ahead, especially when I have two shows close together (October and November) It takes a while to get parts orders, antiques restored, and seeing how it all fits together. These items are for my October 4-6 show at the Lake County Fairgrounds. They are all new and have never been in a show…yet.

Shop before and after. Of course, it gets much messier than this. But it just underwent a needed major makeover.It's challenging to get everything an 8 x 8 area of our finished basement, but most everything is there, though I have to retreat to the garage for some work. I have a dream of building a new freestanding "him hut1"

Cool stuff at next show!

My next show will have a bunch of items that are unlike anything I have ever done. I have totally restored some antique ohm meters and turned them into very unique lamps. Also, I converted vintage 5mm movie cameras into supper cute little lamps with remote controlled LED bulbs. The show is at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Grayslake, IL, April 5-7.

Thank you for making The Grayslake Festival of Arts and Crafts last weekend one of our best shows yet! Even though the snow kept people away on Sunday, it was so busy Friday and Saturday, it still turned out well. It is the first time we have ever sold six items in ten minutes! It was great connecting with our friends, customers, and fellow artisans and entrepreneurs. It makes for a nice community of old and new friends. We appreciate you all!

Here at the Grayslake Festival of Arts and Crafts Saturday and Sunday. This is a very large, very fun show with lots of new Doo-Dads!

Doo-Dads will be at the Festival of Arts and Crafts, September 29 – October 1 at the Lake County Fairgrounds (Friday 2:00-7:00PM, Saturday 9:00AM-4:00PM, Sunday 10:00AM-4:00PM). I am introducing two new lines of products: Football Bots and Upcycled Antique Meters. I will also have a good selection of Guitar Bots, Bluetooth Phone Bots, bubble light trees, black pipe creations, and antiques. It truly is the best assortment of products I have ever offered.
