The opening of the “East of the Mountains: The Wenatchee Art Show” at Bremerton’s Collective Visions Gallery went amazing — 300 people came through the doors — and I was so grateful to be amongst such a great cross-section of Wenatchee Valley artists! Check out the photos, and if you are going to be in Bremerton during the next few weeks, the “East of the Mountains” show runs through July 2 at the Bremerton gallery.

Art work from nine Wenatchee Valley artists, including myself, will be featured in the "East of the Mountains" exhibit at the Collective Visions Gallery in Bremerton during the entire month of June! I will have several art jewelry pieces in the show. The other local artists participating include:

— Martha Flores (acrylic painting and bronze sculpture)

— Kasey Koski (watercolor, pen and ink journal reprinted on canvas)

The Collective Visions Gallery first opened in 1994 and helps form the core of the Bremerton Arts District. Bremerton's First Friday Art Walk is being held from 5 to 8 p.m. on June 2.

I am excited to be returning to the Mission District Building, 207 Mission Ave., in Cashmere, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 11, as part of its "Valentines Market on Mission." This is a cool historic building and I love what I have seen from other artists at this location. The quality is quite good.

In addition to Valentine’s Day pieces, I will have a good selection of my other hand-crafted jewelry. Please drop by and see me on Feb. 11.
