Congratulations to Eagle Scout candidate, Cody Clackett, on completing his project today. This fall, Cody will major in Family and Consumer Sciences Education at SUNY Oneonta. For his project, Cody chose to help future students at Newfield by creating a garden of fresh herbs and vegetables to be used in our Family and Consumer Sciences' Culinary Program. Thank you to Cody for leaving behind such a wonderful gift to help your community. 🍑🍓🍒🌱🍊🍍

Help us support students of all ages (K-12) as they prepare for the upcoming school year! The Brookhaven Youth Bureau is hosting a Back to School Drive through August 23.

Get ready! National Night Out is just 7 days away! Join us at Fireman's Memorial Park in Ridge for a fantastic free event sponsored by the Sheriff's Office and the Town of Brookhaven. This year’s event promises to be the biggest and best yet! Mark your calendars and don’t miss out!

Please join Councilman Neil A. Manzella, Town Clerk Kevin A. LaValle, the SCPD 6th Precinct and the Middle Country Public Library for National Night Out at the Centereach Pool Complex on Tuesday, August 6th from 5:30pm -8:30pm! This free event includes swimming, a touch-a-truck area, crafts, games, vendors and more! We hope to see you there!

The Muccio Siblings went shopping for backpacks and school supplies with the $1317 they raise from their successful lemonade stand fundraiser. They were able to purchase 75 backpacks and hundreds of school supplies from Target and Walmart! Target even gave a family & friends discount to help the kids buy more items! Congrats again and thank you to Isabella, Michael, Giavanna and Madelyn Muccio! 🍋😁🎉

Congratulations and thank you to the Muccio siblings who have met their goal and earned $1,317 at their lemonade stand - in order to purchase school supplies and backpacks as a fundraiser for children in need in MCCSD! Isabella, 11th grade, Michael 7th grade, Giavanna, 5th grade & Madelyn 2nd grade, have worked diligently at their lemonade stand for a few days of their summer vacations for the last three years earning a total of $2697 all to purchase school supplies and backpack for needy students in Middle Country Schools.

They operated their lemonade stand on Monday July 29., Tuesday July 30 and Thursday August 1 from 10 AM to 4 PM in their home driveway. (total 18 hours).

They are purchasing all of the school supplies and backpacks with every cent earned! Yesterday they went to Walmart and Target and bought lots of school supplies and backpacks. This evening they are going back to Walmart and Target to buy more backpacks and school supplies.

Thank you to everyone in our wonderful community who supported the kids cause! Many friends, community members and amazing teachers and staff came to visit their lemonade stand and donate to their cause!

Despite the on and off rain today, the Muccio kids earned $300 so far for their school supply fundraiser. They will be out all week and next week depending on the rain. Check out the dates below if you would like to support the fundraiser and/or donate school supplies!

Congratulations to Alum Brandon Lloyd! Brandon graduated from Centereach High School in 2021 where he also played Varsity sports (football, fencing) and also excelled in the music program!

Brandon has completed his first deployment for Operation Prosperity Guardian from October 2023 to July 2024!

Brandon has been promoted to E5 Petty Officer 2nd Class. This is for his actions in defense of his ship, the USS Mason during several attacks, from intercontinental Ballistic missiles and drone attacks from houthie Rebels in the Red Sea. Brandon has been awarded The US Navy Marine Corps Achievement Award/Ribbon from the Captain of The USS Mason!

Currently, Brandon is in his home port in Mayport Naval Station in Jacksonville, Florida!
