'Swingitation'
Set a timer for 5 minutes and:
🕐Get comfortable in a seated or supine position, one where your joints are supported and you can breathe easily, but will not fall asleep.
🕑Eyes closed, begin to slow your breath, making it deep and long and easy, breathing from the diaphragm.
🕒Begin to make your inhale as long as your exhale, counting to - minimum 5, maximum 8 - for the inhale as well as the exhale. This will help you to slow both sides of the breath down and balance them out.
🕓If counting isn't your thing, just keep with the deep and even breathing while you notice any thoughts and sensations passing through the brain. Yet don't attach yourself to any single thought or feeling. Acknowledge it, then let it go.
🕔Relax your face, jaw, eyes, shoulders and the rest of your body.

One of our most commonly asked questions is how to do this simple basic Lumbo-pelvic stretch & spinal traction maneuver for low back pain or tightness. Simply sit in sling saddle then lie with back on floor and wrap legs into the fabric as shown. Relax and enjoy!
Sling can be lowered or raised easily for more or less traction/stretch. Hang for 5 or 10 minutes then sway right/left or flex and extend forw/back for greater mobilization of lumbar vertebra.
