Dr. Jamal Harrison Bryant is the dynamic Senior Pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Stonecrest, Georgia. Known for his visionary leadership and political activist, Dr. Bryant previously served as the National Youth and College Director of the NAACP, guiding 70,000 young people worldwide in non-violent campaigns.
The primary objective of this event was to mobilize the community and emphasize the importance of voter turnout in the upcoming November elections. Additionally, this event aimed to enlighten the community about Project 2025, highlighting key elements that are essential for informed voting decisions.

This prestigious recognition honors the bravery and sacrifice of the sons and daughters of our community who were wounded or killed in combat, defending the freedoms enjoyed by all Americans. This designation underscores Union City’s tireless commitment to acknowledging and appreciating the profound sacrifices made by our military heroes. By becoming a Purple Heart City, Union City joins a distinguished group of communities nationwide dedicated to honoring and supporting Purple Heart recipients.

Growing up in the musical backdrop of Chicago, smooth jazz saxophonist Jeff Sparks quickly discovered the blue note that would journey him through the world of music. Jeff’s love for music began around age 10 when he fatefully picked up the saxophone from an array of instruments across a table in his music class. From that day forward, Jeff has not put the saxophone down.
