Michael Kernan, Producer/Director HDDS

Michael Kernan, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, (graduate of The Ohio School of Broadcasting) studying Broadcast engineering, Video production, recording Engineering and Telecommunications, began his career working in the technical field of Telecommunications in Cleveland, Ohio, moved to Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, D.C areas. He was also a musician and song writer, touring with jazz bands on the East coast.

He later came to Los Angeles to continue in the Telecommunications field where he continued to climb the corporate latter. His education and skills in technology helped him to stay on top of the technology industry. He has consulted for companies such as AT&T, MCI, Sprint, along with several overseas corporations. He has taught telecommunications and equipment training classes for major corporations, and has built and designed world wide network control centers in the US and abroad, but his true passion was to start his own business in the music and film industry. Michael’s love for God, music and technology led to his dream of starting his own recording studio. He began KernaTrac Studios in El Monte, California in 1990.

Over the years, Michael has worked with a variety of clients in the music and technology fields, such as WinSonic Technologies, WinSonic Studios, Mo’ Jazz Records, The Gap Band, Pacific Breeze Band, Laser Pacific and in the digital streaming of such television productions as “Melrose Place”, “Babylon Five” and “Touched By An Angel”.

KernaTrac Studios is now High Desert Digital, a division of MoMatt Enterprises, Incorporated. High Desert Digital specializes in and produces high-end Corporate Video, TV Commercials, Radio Spots, Music Production, Infomercials, Web Video, Music Video, Short Films and Documentaries. High Desert Digital also provides Post Production Services (editing, sound effects, visual effects, motion graphics, sound design, ADR) for Film and Television and Audio Book Recordings. Michael has currently finished albums for High Desert gospel artists Dansby Sturdivant, LaMarche Mosley and mastering for Regina Courtney’s’ Palmist album.
