“Worship is not an experience. Worship is an act, and this takes discipline. We are to worship ''in spirit and in truth.'' Never mind about the feelings. We are to worship in spite of them.”
Elisabeth Elliot
Let’s commit to doing the work we need to do personally.
I’ve learned to celebrate and appreciate God’s grace daily! If that’s your testimony type “Amen”.
My goal and aim in this new year is to experience peace in an unusual manner. I’m starting by counting my blessings!
You are never alone!
May you experience all the blessings and joy that comes with this season. Merry Christmas!
This is the season of miracles and possibilities. Trust God to be God!
I’ve often said how much I love first sundays. This one was no different. We baptized, served communion, extended the right hand of fellowship, honored 5 Star Award recipients, bestowed the title of Deacon Emeritus and celebrated 156 years of ministry as a faith community. We were also tremendously blessed by the preaching gift of and our Worship & Arts Ministry. It was a good day!

"We know that without food we would die. Without fellowship, life is not worth living." ~ Laurie Colwin
One of the greatest joys of the week is the opportunity to greet worshippers. I am blessed and encouraged by the exchanges.
May you and yours be blessed by the generosity of God’s grace today and everyday. Happy Thanksgiving!
You are encouraged to exercise your right to vote. Voting is a sacred and solemn privilege. Countless numbers of individuals sacrificed their lives that we might have this opportunity. Let’s do our part today and honor their memories and legacy!

It was my honor to celebrate our Veterans and to welcome the National Naval Officers Association to FBCV. We are forever grateful for your service and sacrifice.
Sharing the message of our upcoming Youth Male Summit with local principals. Grateful for the support. It’s going to be a great experience. I want to encourage you to register a young man today.
Somethings have be left exclusively for God to handle. I dare you sit back and watch Him work it out.
A great weekend celebrating the contributions of the brotherhood. We are all better because of time we’ll spent.
I am excited about spending time this weekend with the brotherhood. Looking forward to a great time of fellowship and impartation. I encourage you to join us if you are able.
I have learned to fully appreciate and celebrate the provision of God. I pray the same for you!
I was tremendously blessed yesterday by the testimonies & stories of survival. I pray that our efforts have helped to add years to someone’s life.
This Sunday we focus on hope and healing. We will celebrate survivors of domestic violence and cancer as well as honor the memories of those who left us far too early.
