Shame on NBC and Monmouth Park Racetrack for going on with today's race despite the National Weather Advisory's warning of EXCESSIVE HEAT!! How would any of those higher ups at either place like to be saddled up (wearing a fur coat no less), and whipped to race at their fastest speeds, despite real feel temps at 110+degrees??! Selfish and greedy. What goes around comes around. Those poor horses aren't being considered at all...just everyone's wallets...disgusting.

Ok so just finishing up a 4’x4’ barn quilt for an order for a local barn owner! 🙂 i‘m so excited! Not only do I love making these, but wouldn’t it be fun to have a barn quilt tour right here in the Lehigh/Berks county area!? We wouldn’t have to travel out to the Midwest to do it! Lol. Hi, to all! Just wanted to post a few added wood cookies and pics. I always forget to take pics before they sell...ugh! So trying to remember to get them on here! :). Happy Spring, y'all!

So...FINALLY getting around to posting some pics of some of the finished new pieces. Learning as I go! Hope you like them!

So here are project #1 and #2 finally complete. #3 not finished, but getting there!! A new “barnwood quilt” inspiration! I can’t sew a quilt, but I do ok with wood! So what does everyone think? These are quite addicting to make and the sky is the limit in patterns...place an order, if you’d like! 🙂

Sorry it’s been sooooo long! We added a new guy to our herd and life’s just been a bit chaotic! I have been experimenting with some new wood projects! They aren’t complete, but I am loving them! They are barnwood quilts! What do you think????

Soon to come will be some scenic mountain scapes! I think you’ll like them! I’ll update as these finish up!!!

Just made these valances for our master! I have been searching high and low for just the right thing...and found something similar to these! No way was I going to pay when I figured I could make them! I used cut off from our reclaimed hardwood flooring throughout our home! I really love them! And finally....my windows are no longer bare!!!

It might not be too late...I have one or two signs left in me to make in time! 🙂 lol. And a few already made and ready to go! Let me know if interested! And a merry Christmas to all!!!

Selling a few pieces I still have after all my December shows! Inventory is low, happy to say! And just finished this coat rack! You can hang coats, hats, purses and whatever from the hooks/knobs and place shoes, purses, umbrellas or whatever you can think of in the storage area! It’s a great time to get those last minute custom orders in to me! The wood cookie ornaments have been selling like hot cakes, and several custom NFL team favorites have been ordered! The sky is the limit!

I just had someone order a rustic Eagles (fly Eagles, fly) sign and a turtle for their turtle-loving daughter-in-law! I never did that before so let me know your thoughts! I’ll attach a pic of where they are at this far! 🙂

Still need some Christmas gifts?? Tomorrow, 12/1 from 9AM-noon there is a Holiday Shoppe at Macungie Elementary School! Kids can shop in the gymnasium for their families with the help of parent volunteers and 5th grade students from the school, while their parents shop the vendors and crafters tables in the hallways! It’s a fun morning for all! Come on out before you kick off your Saturday! :)

Not sure if I had posted this one before it sold or not! An actual horseshoe and I attached it so that it stood away from the picture (not attached in this photo)...so you could hang purses, a jacket or two, hats...or even some tack for your horse!! 🙂 This one’s gone, but message me if you would like one like it!

Come out this Saturday (11/10) from 11AM-3PM! Eyer Middle School in Macungie, PA is having their annual Chili-cookoff! It’s a lot of fun and by then end of sampling...you’ll be quite full! All for a $4 entrance fee which goes to Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley! Also there will be crafts and vendors! I’ll be there with my reclaimed wood home decor! Come on out and have a fun time with family and friends! 🙂

Finally finished my son’s reclaimed wood pallet flag! What do you think? I love the little stars mixed with slightly larger ones...but boy were they buggers! They did NOT want to cooperate! If anyone would like one built (especially in time for Veteran’s Day), let me know ASAP as they do take some time! :)

Sometimes I truly feel like this...

Just got done painting this today! Anyone else have a horse (or horses) they adore?? My guy is just such a love! Spending time with him each day just makes life seem so much simpler and happier!

So I found this old treasure while helping my grandmother sort thru her home before she passed a few years ago (still missing her so very much!)...the mirror is half scratched off, but what made it so special was it has a keystone on the back, with the year 1905 on it (I think it was 05, might have been 06, I’d have to look again). In any event, i didn’t want to just throw it away, or even re-mirror it (is that a word?). So instead I decided to sort of frame it and make it into a vanity tray. I keep my ridiculous amount of perfumes on it! 🙂

So ANYTHING can be repurposed! Perhaps you have something you would like re-worked into something more use-able!? Message me! The possibilities are endless!
