Armed -N- Dangerous
Around the Monroe area for over 31 years we mix several genres together for all to dance and enjoy! November 1992 founding member Gary Stump leaves the band.
Monroe's Armed n Dangerous have been rock and rolling for over 31 years. Founders Norm Braden (bass), Pete Estes (lead and rhythm) and Gary Stump (drums) started in 1989. They played several gigs around the area that year and built a following that has stayed true to this day. Spring of 1990 - Pete left the band and by summer Art (Richie) Richards was brought in to play lead guitar. October 1990
Puppies... Summer 1991
We cannot WAIT to get out and see yas...
We've missed you.
Friday Fashback to May, 1996...
Throwback Thursday to January of 1991!!
33 years ago we debuted at the Riverfront Lounge the 16th, 17th and 18th and right back two weeks later (Jan 31st, Feb 1st and 2nd).
Not too shabby for a young band that had only been together since October of 1990! Three months of hard garage practice had us sharp as a tack and we were eager to get out and show our stuff...
February '91 was also busy with us booking into the Whistlestop Bar and then a one nighter at REGAL HALL in March.
Y'all remember the Regal Hall gig?
January 18th, 1991
Armed n Dangerous played our first official gig at what was then the Riverfront Lounge!
A 5 piece band with a new lead singer that wasn't even old enough to be in the bar.
We stayed a 5 piece till summer 1993.
(Pictured - Art Richards (guitar) Jamie Baldwin (vocals) and Gary Stump (drums).
Merry Christmas!!!
We hope you have an amazing time making memories with friends and family!
Remember the ones who can't be with us and raise a glass to them.
Be safe out there and please, don't drink and drive!
Thank you all for your support!
