While it wasn’t Manresa Day, it was just as fun!
All 3 beaches, Twin Lakes, Rio Del Mar and Manresa had a Surf Day at Manresa today.

Many Junior Guards brought their own surfboards, boogie boards and fins to body surf. Throughout all the free time in the water, we still learned about currents and how easily you can be pulled up or down coast.
Our Junior Guards also learned about surf etiquette and how to catch waves.
Surf Day was a blast!

It’s a great day to be a Junior Guard!

We are almost done with Session 1 of Junior Guards! The last 3 weeks has been a blast filled with water safety & ocean education, fun packed Manresa Day, Capitola’s Competition, and honing our ocean skills by using boogie and surf boards.

We still have plenty of openings for Session 2 starting on July 10th! Rio only has a few spots left, while Twin Lakes and Manresa have plenty of openings. We’d love to have you join Junior Guards for our last session of 2023!

Click on the link in our bio or call the Junior Guard Coordinator at (831) 212-7223 for information on how to register.

It’s a great day to be a Junior Guard!

Our Little Guards did great today at the Capitola Competition!
While we were the smallest group there, we did very well in all of the events. But we’re not there to be sore winners/losers. Our Little Guards were there to have fun and we won in that regard!
We’re very proud of the progress our Little Guards have made from day one and being reluctant to getting in the water to now doing dolphin dives into the water and giving their all.

Thank you Capitola Junior Guards for having us and we’ll see you tomorrow for the A’s-C’s Competition.

It’s a great day to be a Junior Guard!
