In Memoriam MICHAEL LANGE!
(December 11, 1944 - January 8, 2022)
It was the co-creator of the Woodstock music festival,
Lang died from "a rare form of non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma at Sloan Kettering Hospital in NYC,"
Lang was just 24 years old when Woodstock took place in August 1969 in New York's Catskill Mountains.
Officially billed The Woodstock Music and Art Fair, An Aquarian Exposition, the festival staged on a dairy farm in White Lake became a seminal moment in music history.

"Today I painted a new residents nails at work and as we were going over colors, she mentioned she wanted clear. The only thought that came to my mind was "CLEAR?! That's no fun." I asked her why she wanted clear and she said, "My hands are ugly, I don't want to draw attention to them." I then carefully responded with, "Your hands tell the story of your life. So, this morning’s routine went a bit haywire. As always, Silver wakes me up for breakfast at 4:15-4:30 each and every morning. I walk down the hallway, in the dark, all the while Silver is doing crazy eights between my legs and meowing. I think: feed him, start my coffee, and check the catio out for Silver’s safety. By then, my coffee is ready, so I get a cup, then sit down and chill…All/every morning routine, except for this morning. While I was sipping my coffee, Silver jumps up and drops something in my lap. First thought was, Silver wants me to play fetch with his toy snake. But, as my eyes focused on it, I started to notice it had lots of legs, then, it clicked to me…it’s real!! Silver dropped a giant desert centipede right on my lap! They bite, and are poisonous. I freaked a bit. Coffee went everywhere, I took off my shorts because I couldn’t find it. Breezie hears all the commotion, comes running down the hallway, sees me in our living room, standing buck naked and covered in coffee, on a lighter note, the look on her face was priceless. I explained to her what had just happened, so we searched. We found the Giant desert centipede, mangled and dead. I checked Silver real good to make sure he hadn’t been bit…he was good, thankfully. So that’s today’s news…
