“‘Why did you do all this for me?' Wilbur asked. 'I don't deserve it. I've never done anything for you.' 'You have been my friend,' replied Charlotte. 'That in itself is a tremendous thing. I wove my webs for you because I liked you. After all, what's a life, anyway? We're born, we live a little while, we die...By helping you, perhaps I was trying to lift up my life a trifle.
Heaven knows anyone's life can stand a little of that.’”

I am this old…
Remembering Kemal Amin "Casey" Kasem (April 27, 1932 – June 15, 2014) on his 10th death anniversary. He was an American disc jockey, actor and radio presenter, who created and hosted several radio countdown programs, notably American Top 40. He was the first actor to voice Shaggy Rogers in the Scooby-Doo franchise (1969 to 1997 and 2002 to 2009) and Dick Grayson/Robin in Super Friends (1973–1985).
Kasem began hosting the original American Top 40 on the weekend of July 4, 1970, and remained there until 1988. He would then spend nine years hosting another countdown titled Casey's Top 40, beginning in January 1989 and ending in February 1998, before returning to revive American Top 40 in 1998. Along the way, spin-offs of the original countdown were conceived for country music and adult contemporary audiences, and Kasem hosted two countdowns for the latter format beginning in 1992 and continuing until 2009. He also founded the American Video Awards in 1983 and continued to co-produce and host it until its final show in 1987.
Kasem also provided many commercial voiceovers, performed many voices for children's television (such as Sesame Street and the Transformers cartoon series), was "the voice of NBC" and helped with the annual Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon
Our sister co. has been covering the storm damage in the Cuyuna area. Jackie Jet with The Bigger Picture LLC You may have even seen her photos and drone footage on KSTP. To say she's great at what she does is an understatement. She's a Delta pilot so understands airspace and weather patterns better than anyone we know, follows the FAA drone guidelines and legal requirements to a T, and is married to a lineman – which naturally lends herself to storm chasing. She's just hands down 5 star. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Couple glamour shots of the drone and pilot from this week's shoot. 😉 Jackie Jet

When the Titanic sank, it carried millionaire John Jacob Astor IV. The money in his bank account was enough to build 30 Titanics. However, faced with mortal danger, he chose what he deemed morally right and gave up his spot in a lifeboat to save two frightened children.
Millionaire Isidor Straus, co-owner of the largest American chain of department stores, "Macy's," who was also on the Titanic, said: "I will never enter a lifeboat before other men."
His wife, Ida Straus, also refused to board the lifeboat, giving her spot to her newly appointed maid, Ellen Bird. She decided to spend her last moments of life with her husband.
These wealthy individuals preferred to part with their wealth, and even their lives, rather than compromise their moral principles. Their choice in favor of moral values highlighted the brilliance of human civilization and human nature.
It was a beautiful day in Hinckley, MN today ☀️ Special thanks to Jackie with for some stunning drone shots and for being the best host! These guys make custom fabricated solutions for some of Minnesota's VIPs in the construction and manufacturing business.
🙌Tidholm Productions: Credit for printing of TDP's new billboard we recently designed. From printing to coordinating the install, Jeff and his team were awesome!
These two Angels were amazing helpers this week! 🙌

My Why ❤️ Chloe has pushed herself to try new positions, knows where the plays are, encourages her teammates and isn’t afraid to swing! That’s my girl 🥰 Thanks to my awesome clients I’m able to have a flexible schedule that has allowed me to grow two pretty great kids and be there for them always.
Thanks Steve for the kind words! Love this job 🥰
In 1970, Gary Anderson, then a 23-year-old architecture student at the University of Southern California, designed the iconic recycling logo as part of a contest organized by the Container Corporation of America. This logo, symbolizing the recycling process with its three chasing arrows, quickly became a global symbol of environmental consciousness. Anderson’s design not only marked a significant moment in the environmental movement but also demonstrated the power of simple, clear graphic design to convey a universal message.
A poster designed for a great cause! SAVE THE DATE: JULY 27 for Erin's Wish Fundraiser – all proceeds go to CRMC Courage Cabinet.
ABOUT ERIN'S WISH:
Erin Brodhead lost her fight with colon cancer in December 2021 at 50 years of age. Brodhead's last wish was to give back to the Courage Cabinet and for others to be able to benefit from her loss. Her son Reid Peterson worked with community members to help inspire the creation of Erin's Wish as a fundraiser for CRMC's Courage cabinet. Brodhead was a recipient of Courage Cabinet funds when she urgently needed support.
Hi! I’m Katie,
A designer since 2002, working first in casino gaming – then for an ad agency in northern Minnesota. I since decided to follow my passion and make the jump as an independent creative in the Lakes Area. This allows me a flexible schedule – a necessity to reach my goal of raising two amazing children, and a creative freedom allowing me to give back to the community we call home.
I’m 99% sure God placed a creative bone somewhere in my body and I haven’t seemed to break it yet. As a kid, I loved making my own newsletters and writing stories, in some attempt to convince my parents I needed a four-legged pal or an upgraded set of wheels. I did attempt to sew my own clothes and failed then miserably, but did teach myself with success under the title of “Mom”. My 8-year-old self would be happy to know I still have an entire craft closet in my basement full of beads, scrapbooks, modge podge and science projects I share with my own kids.
Rather than investing lots of money into traditional paid advertising, KKadvertising has simply relied on word-of-mouth from happy customers that want to tell their friends about it. With the help of the Internet and social media, the reach is far and wide. I love learning something new every day and carefully crafting each customer’s story. I’d love to hear about you and your next big thing.
Let’s work together! Say hello!
