Seriously though, Monday night football is worse than Sunday. Mondays are crazy already, throw in my husband who is now non-existent because his team is playing tonight and I’m stuck with bed time, dinner clean up and evening house chores all 👏by👏my👏self👏 Someone get me one of those beer helmets that I can fill with wine since I won’t have time to sit down and enjoy a glass tonight 🙄

It’s like 500°F and 1000% humidity. Kids are hot whining. I’m hot and wine-ing with some frozé from the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. I think I win.

Pro Tip: Plan you wine tasting around nap time. They nap and you can enjoy your wine in peace.

I’ll be sipping this fun, festive frozen sangria. What’s in your glass? 🇺🇸 🍷

Red, White and Blue frozen sangria featuring Hoot

White layer
2 cups ice
1/4 cup coconut
1/4 cup wine

Red layer
12oz frozen strawberries
3/4 cups wine
1 Tbsp grenadine
1/2 cup frozen watermelon

Blue layer
2.5 cups ice
1/4 cup wine
1/2 cup blue curaçao

For each layer, blend all ingredients together until thick and slushy consistency. I recommend doing the white layer first, then red then blue. Put the white and red layers in the freezer after you make them so they don’t melt while you make the other layers. Make the blue layer last since it’s the first layer in the glass. Then spoon the white layer into the glass followed by the red layer.
