Life update:

We’ve been in an ever changing season.

This year has been… a roller coaster 🎢 One that I’ve learned to ride and adapt to all the new loops we go through.

I’ve obviously taken a step back from sm and honestly, I miss it sometimes, the relationships I created, the community I felt I had, and that obviously got lost as I stopped being as active.
It was a season that I poured my all into my core family and I’m glad I did!

During these changes I’ve been learning to let go, be where my feet are and lean into my faith, (which was always something I struggled with..) I had my plan and for some reason the Big Guy wasn’t on the same page…. I think we might have been on different chapters actually.

Anyway, I’m at a different place, facing these trials with grace (as much as I can at least… there are a few eye rolls here and there) and strangely feel peace even when things take a hard turn.

Since January, we were bouncing around from city to city, whether it was as a family or just me and the kids! A mix of Dylan working, Leila being homeschooled so we had the freedom to just go, Dylan’s busy summer work schedule, visiting family. We finally got a steady address in August! That felt very nice lol then Leila started school again, she’s back in sports, and we have a consistent schedule to follow! It’s great for all parties involved, it’s just that sometimes we all just feel too busy sooooo,
With the weather being PHENOMENAL these past few days I’ve felt the need to just reflect, and slow down. Which we did today. It was a slow moving day, filled with tons of vitamin D, make up, a whole lotta mess, and even more laughter.

This is kinda a random post but, just wanted to update. I feel like today was a big switch for me. I’m excited for my future.

My big girl. She woke up all excited! Picked out her outfit, got dressed, did her hair, chose some jewelry, and of course put on some lip gloss 💋

Yesterday we went to Leila’s meet the teacher.
We homeschooled first grade and although it went okayyyyy lol we feel like Leila strives in social environments. Homeschooling served it purpose last year with our crazy life but back to school she goes.
(I love the idea of homeschooling, and if this year we feel like things are crazy in school then back to homeschooling we go!)
She’s so excited, and nervous! I’m so excited, and nervous for her!

Today I walked with the kids and played a bit then got frozen yogurt as a last hoorah before our new schedule kicks in. They had fun. I had fun. We had fun.
