We are cultivating skilled practitioners and creative scholars to develop ideas and design resources delivering the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the richness of his Church into the vastness of the human race until the end of the age. The word “seminary” descends from the

📣 We're so excited to share with you about the 2025 New Room Leaders Gathering: Even Greater Things.
Jesus promised His followers (including us) something remarkable: “Whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these.” For many of us, our current experience doesn’t reflect the fullness of this promise.
We long to live this promise out. Yet, we do not know how to get there.
The New Room Leader Gathering is designed with this gap in mind. For three days, we’ll focus on equipping leaders in key areas we believe are essential to experiencing what Jesus promised:
Operating in the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit
Engaging in spiritual conflict and deliverance
Persevering in community through trials
No matter where you lead— at home, in the church, in the marketplace, or beyond— if you desire to lead in a manner that welcomes “greater things,” the New Room Leader Gathering is for you!
Join us! We'll be gathering together in Atlanta, GA
on February 20-22, 2025.
A reading from Psalms
The Bible tells us that Jesus’ followers are called disciples. If we want to be counted among those followers, then doesn’t it make sense that we figure out just what being a disciple looks like in everyday life?
In The Means of Grace, Andrew C. Thompson presents a clear and accessible explanation of the core tenets John Wesley instilled in the early Methodist movement—baptism, searching the scriptures, prayer, The Lord’s Supper, fasting, fellowship, accountability, works of mercy, and exercising the presence of God. Each means of grace is drawn from biblical examples and paired with a framework to offer a real, practical model for a life marked by holy love and holy transformation.

Listen to stories of how Jesus consecrated people to himself in the main room and behind the scenes at the Asbury Revival. The four words across the top of the pipe organ in Hughes Auditorium presented an irresistible invitation: “Holiness Unto the Lord.” Many responded in repentance and confession.

A prayer for the start of the weekend:
Heavenly Father,
As we stand at the threshold of this weekend, we thank You for the gift of rest and renewal. We invite Your presence into our hearts, homes, and cities asking for Your guidance and peace in all that we do.
Help us to set aside our worries and embrace this time with joy. May we find moments to connect with family and friends, sharing love and laughter. Grant us the wisdom to seek Your will in our decisions and the strength to serve others in need.
Lord, may this weekend be a time of reflection and spiritual growth. Fill us with Your Spirit, so we can be a light to those around us. As we rest, remind us of Your unfailing love and the blessings You bestow upon us.
In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.

Many Christian leaders have learned to lead by applying principles that bear a greater resemblance to the leadership luminaries of our day than to Jesus and the disciples. What if awakening is led differently than many of us have been trained to lead? What if awakening is led more prayerfully, simply, vulnerably, by observing, by responding, by consecrating the heart?

As we look to Jesus for awakening in hearts, homes, churches, and cities across our world, we know that God meets people in the midst of tremendous suffering to comfort them in their distress.
Whether someone is experiencing the devastating loss of a home or business (for example, in a weather event such as we are seeing in NC right now, where family and friends are located on our Seedbed team), the loss of someone dear to them, or the loss of hope in the midst of personal struggle, we know that Jesus and his people shine brightest in the midst of darkness.
Let’s pause to pray for those going through devastating loss right now, and turn our eyes toward how we can help.
We pray. As we say at Seedbed, “Prayer is not the only thing we do, but it is the first thing we do."
We give. Through the agencies most readily available to us in our networks and denominational connections, we look for ways to care.
We serve. As awakening people who follow Jesus, we seek to be the love of God in the midst of someone's great turmoil.
In this way, we move as those awakened to the love of Jesus, as we generously pray, give, and serve—to see deep wholeness come to those who are suffering.
For Jesus, all for Jesus,
Dan Wilt
