Summer weather continues so the reading continues! This beauty is full of nuggets like “what we say & think & believe about God impacts what we say/think/believe about everything & everyone else” This book highlights Gods feminine energy and reminds everyone what they miss out on when God is placed in a contained system.

Book #3 - Summer 2023. Fav quote - the whole book but lets go with “the most restful gift he can give the tired is a new way to carry life” ok I know…enough books get in the studio and paint!

Book #2 - Summer 2023 - fav quote “The gospel was proclaimed by Jesus BEFORE his death. This hints that the gospel is about more than responding to what happened at the cross” and “the fundamental human sin is to make our own moral choices apart from God’s directives”

Writing out scripture has been one of my routines that creates space to evaluate goals and priorities. Highly recommended!

Book #1 summer 2023 - fav quotes “i am more thankful than ever for all the saints, past and present, who said yes and whose faith sustains mine” - “thick skin, tender heart”. Now off to the studio to paint…but first a trip out west!

Well this may be a first - character painting for my son - replication of an NFT he likes that is worth way to much to ever purchase. NFTs are weird…this bored ape collection is quite the controversy. Needless to say this is not for sale :)

Truth & Reconciliation is a difficult journey…wearing something orange is only a symbol. The real work is much deeper than that but oh so needed. (not an original Painting - its a reproduction of a favourite painting my mom had).

Sometimes there is a reason a painting is just not turning out they way you envisioned - sometimes the layers underneath are needed to build on - correct and change to something new that would have never been without the mistakes underneath:)not sure where this one is headed yet. Kinda like life:)

! Struggling to pull through last assignment of my summer course…weary is totally the game and its winning lol. Cheers to all those brave souls who push through schooling and to those in my life that give me space to pursue this without any known reason for its purpose!

Early Lake View morning - writing out the book of Acts (neglected podcast series!). Ch 15 dropped just what I needed to hear. We all get trapped with creating division - them vs us. Goal : Extending grace to those who still carry that heavy yoke we were never meant to carry.

Georgian Bay never disappoints. Been captivated by its beauty since childhood. Wish I could paint this.
