Here's a mini update on what I've been working on!
One of the most undervalued and underused keys to getting really good at something is to just do it for at least fifteen minutes a day. In the grand scheme of our day, it’s not a lot of time.
Many of us spend much more than that just scrolling through social media, and then wonder where our time went. (Myself included.) The best part about it is that the tiny amount of time that we spend each day on the skill amounts to tons of progress in the long run.
There are some things that I look back on and am amazed by how far I’ve gotten with just a little effort each day.
One of the bravest, scariest things we can do is follow our dreams. It’s not always glamorous or easy or perfect, but sometimes, all the doors just start opening and the process unfolds for you as if by magic. Let your heart lead. Life is too short to do otherwise.
If you’re ready to delve into a heart-led, authentic, purposeful life, book a session today and get the ball rolling.

True change starts with our beliefs-
starting with what we believe about ourselves and the
world around us. If we believe we can't change, we
simply won't.
This is the core of empowerment coaching.

Many of us learn the hard way that we don’t really realize what we’ve turned into habits until we try to drop them. Coaching with me means replacing those unwanted habits with stronger, wanted ones to make it easier than simply throwing them away altogether.
Reminder: Now offering in-person coaching for those in or within 30 minutes of Columbus, MS, U.S. All services are still also offered long-distance over either the phone or with Zoom.

Kali Yang was a dear friend of mine for six years on this earthly plane prior to her passing on September 17, 2022 from leukemia. She was an incredible person with unerring positivity and kindness, and her influence is still felt by many and will continue to be felt. She is an irreplaceable being, and I am grateful for every moment I was able to chat and game with her. She followed and achieved her dreams of supporting her family with her art and creativity, all the way up to her final day. She created mystical, whimsical clay critters and watercolor paintings (she did not sell her paintings), so in her honor, I'd like to extend a free program to at least one artist per year and promote visibility for as many artists as possible.
To enter, please include in your caption when posting the piece you'd like to submit. If you'd like to submit an existing post, please tag in a comment or just send the post directly to our inbox.
Submissions will be accepted until October 14, 2023, and the winner will be selected and messaged on October 15, 2023. All participants who consent to be promoted will have their pages acknowledged in posts across any/all platform(s) of their choice (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
The theme each year will be mystical/whimsical creations. The winner will partake in a tailored 90 day program.
Please remember that your art only exists because YOU exist. Without you, no more of your art can be made. You are more valuable than what you can create. Thank you for existing, and please take care of yourself!
Arguably the most important question to answer: "who do you work with?"
I work with people who are tired of fitting into a “one-size-fits-all” mold by helping them discover and embrace their authentic selves and do more of what makes them feel alive. I want people to love their lives and are able to look at each day and say, "I've done exactly what I was meant to do today."
Don’t take opportunities away from yourself. Do that thing you always told yourself you’d do by the time you were ___ years old but were too busy LIVING to do. It’s time now.
The live workshop will be free with donations welcome. The recorded version will be sold on my website soon.
Set yourself up for success in all that you do by creating small habits that align with your goals.
Personally, I’m writing at least one sentence on those days when I don’t have the time I want to work on my book. I learn at least one new word in another language daily, and spend at least ten minutes studying something I’m interested in. Those small things add up much faster than doing nothing at all because we fall to the “all or nothing” mentality.
The distraction of building the new habit often makes us forget/lose the old habit by proxy! We can do this with food, bedtime routines, exercise/activities, et cetera! It’s really cool to witness.
It’s so easy to fall into a pattern- and it’s not always a great pattern. We might let an issue we’re having consume us, until it’s all we think/worry about and it takes over our lives. We can turn it around by putting what we want front and center.
Honing in on that next step towards our goal and achieving it, one small step at a time, is the fastest, surest way to reaching the big goal. Keep working towards it and talking about it as fact.
Avoid the “all or nothing” trap- a little is better than nothing. As a concrete, current example, if I don’t have the hour I want to sit and work on my book, I just write at least one sentence. I used to struggle with the mentality of “if I don’t have at least an hour to write, I just won’t bother,” which meant nothing was written at all. Progress is progress!
Can’t take an hour long walk? Wander around for fifteen minutes. Can’t hit the gym three times a week? Once a week or at-home workouts are a start. Something is better than nothing.

Now Teaching Usui Reiki Level I I am so very excited to announce the unveiling of a class! Reiki is very near and dear to my heart, and I could not be more thrilled to spread the power of healing. This class is taught in accordance with Usui Shiki Ryoho in a live class, recording, or read-only, complete with a Reiki Level I manual...
Giving a moment of stillness rather than a reel today! With this beautiful spring, we are given an opportunity to sit outside somewhere and take stock of all of the amazing things we have and how grateful we are for all of it. This simple act allows us to operate from a place of compassion and gratitude, with the knowing that we have what we need.
Why is that important? It’s important because by going to this place of gratitude and abundance, we become a more positive and pleasant person to be around and attract even more of what we’re already grateful for. It’s an incredible process.
Is there anyone or anything in your life that you may have been taking for granted or just not expressing your gratitude for? Challenge yourself to calling, meeting, or texting one person in your life and expressing your gratitude to them. Why are they special to you? Why are you glad to know them?
This is a MAJOR one that I discuss with my clients. Your mindset has the power to completely change your experience and outlook in life. This is one of the main aspects that clients seek help with.
Spaces are open for coaching programs beginning in May! There’s also now a new option for standalone coaching sessions for those who don’t want to commit to a program yet.
I’ve been moving through a program that explains the foundations and mechanics of manifestation, and it strongly applies to setting and achieving goals. When you decide what your life is like, how others treat you, and/or the possibilities available to you, you set yourself to behave and react as if those assumptions are true. Then after doing so, we might notice that everything plays out exactly as we expected it to.
Coincidence? I think not! If we set a goal and expect to achieve it, we will naturally begin making decisions and taking actions that lead to it being achieved. This works best when we face down any doubts or fears and say, “no, actually, THIS is what’s happening.”
Spaces are open for coaching programs beginning in May! There’s also now a new option for single coaching sessions for those who don’t want to commit to a program yet.
One of my clients shared three great things she wished she had known sooner, and this is the first one and a MAJOR one.
Procrastination is something sooo many of us struggle with due to society’s outlook on being so busy/“productive” that it’s toxic to us and breaks us down. We end up putting off essential tasks that we need or want to do because it always feels like something else is more urgent or more important.
It feels like something is ALWAYS coming up and that we have to do that and then we’ll do the task that we originally planned to do… only to find that suddenly we ran out of time on the clock that we’d be able to use to do that task. Sometimes this cycle can go on for days, and it can progress to the point where doing the task is moot (things with deadlines or expiration) or feels impossible (especially if it’s a task that piles up when not attended to).
Putting off those tasks can prevent us from getting where we want to be, and that truly makes it a threat to our destiny and our lives.
What do we do about it? Well, for tasks that realistically should only take five to ten minutes, drop everything (that’s practical to stop at the time) and do it. That can be difficult, but it’s SO worth it. If you can’t do it right away, jot it down in your phone or on paper/a planner and do it as soon as you finish inescapable/time-sensitive tasks (just make sure you also eat and sleep- hopefully those are inescapable/time-sensitive tasks in your book).
For other, larger tasks, break them into steps and do it a step at a time as you’re able!
Tired of struggling with procrastination without support that can help boost you out of the pit of despair? Spaces are open for coaching programs beginning in May! There’s also now a new option for single coaching sessions for those who don’t want to commit to a program yet.
One of my clients shared this incredible piece of wisdom. This can have a couple of different interpretations: either the job you love will pay you well and bring you amazing opportunities or free you enough that you’re able to have the energy and time to do a monetary hobby you truly enjoy.
Either way, what you do matters, so it’s incredibly important to work a job that you DON’T dread. Set boundaries for yourself and try to prevent burnout by giving yourself grace and rest when you need it.
Remember: being healthy and well because you take time to heal and relax saves the time and money you’d have to spend if you became sick from stress.
When asked what advice she’d give to others who also struggle to continue working on their health when it’s difficult, one of my clients shared amazing advice to think about. She would ask herself, “do I really want to be reliant on medication when I can make changes that work just as well, if not better?”
She told me that she remembers how she felt before she started making those changes in her life, and that she feels so much better now that she’ll never go back.
What’s one small change you can make for yourself? Is it a ten minute walk? Two minutes of breathing exercises? Half a cup more of a water? The possibilities are endless!
One of my clients voiced this as she was telling me about how much momentum she’s gained from making small changes over time to her lifestyle and improved her health as a result. I wanted to share it as an encouragement to those who think, “what’s the point?”
The point/purpose is to get into a state where you’re feeling good about where you are and where you’re headed. Health is so much more than just eating right and exercising regularly. It’s setting boundaries for what you will and won’t accept. It’s clearing the clutter from all areas of your life, physical or not. It’s deciding what you want for yourself and taking steps towards getting it.
This was such an incredible statement that I absolutely had to share. So many people believe that if they don’t do perfectly for an entire day/week/month, that they should just give up or wait until the next day/week/month to try again.
What if we didn’t put off improving? What if we just did better in the moment, just for today? What if we woke up every morning and lived each day without comparing it and just did our very best to be our healthiest, happiest selves?
Coaching can help us gain this clarity and keep us accountable.
Now accepting up to twenty clients for personal programs beginning in May. Single-session/unstructured clients are also being accepted as availability allows.
On a health and food note, one of my clients made this really profound observation when she was talking about how she decided to transition to free-range eggs and grass-fed beef. It’s absolutely correct! When consuming an animal or animal product, you’re also ingesting whatever they ate or were injected with.
That’s why it’s so important to be mindful of the source of all types of meat and eggs. Some injections are for safety and keep us from getting sick, but not all of them have a healthy purpose.
Adjust your diet to what makes you feel best- you might be surprised!
One of my clients was telling me about how his son asked him if he’d be disappointed in him if he didn’t go into the military. My client and his older sons had all enlisted, but his youngest son didn’t want to. So my client told him that he didn’t have to do the same things as those around him to still be successful.
After celebrating his positive outlook together, he gave me this golden quote you see above. It’s so important to remember that the path meant for you may not look the same, and that’s alright. As long as it aligns with your values and highest good, it’s YOUR path.
Take your time to decide your next move when you need it.
So far, I’ve had sessions with clients from ages 21 to 72! The best part is all of the different experiences and perspectives I get to hear and learn about, and then share with others. Some of you may be thinking, “well, I already KNOW that everything will be okay, I just don’t feel that way,” while others might be so deep in what’s going on in their lives that this seems like an impossible thing. Still others may have already learned this through experiences (regardless of age).
I personally learned this lesson by getting through a lot of really difficult and, honestly, depressing situations. The key is that I got through. The things I didn’t directly benefit from gave me beneficial experience and knowledge to help me in the present and future.
Point being, this lesson isn’t really about how old you are- you can learn it at any time, at any age. It’s very much something gained from specific experiences. However, that doesn’t mean those experiences have to be firsthand. It’s possible to learn from others and from your own intuition.
If you’re going through something right now, let’s do this quick exercise. Firstly, know that peace can still be yours and that you may soon find someone you can speak to so that you will feel less alone and adrift. With that in mind, sit or lie down, and allow yourself to just breathe and exist. Allow yourself to think of what you’ve overcome before and how you managed to make it all the way to this moment, where you’re here. You are actually a gift to this world. Reach far down within yourself and ask, “will I be okay?” Confirmation feels different for everyone, so don’t let yourself worry about how it “should” feel because there is no such thing. Be open to further messages or ideas about your situation that might help you.
It’s okay if you don’t get more than peace. Peace is enough. You are enough. Never forget and never let anyone else tell you otherwise.
I just can’t ignore when things line up so perfectly. I’m currently in a program designed by (yes, coaches do self-improvement and self-development programs, too!) and we were speaking about when I’d begin her I AM course yesterday. This morning, I received this very quote from Insight Timer, a mindfulness app that sends daily messages. When things line up so perfectly, it’s irresistible.
The “I am” meditation allows you to center and decide for yourself who you are. You can do it every day if you want to! YouTube and Insight Timer offer a variety of these meditations to choose from, and you can get the one from the I AM program from her website linked in her Instagram linked earlier in the caption.
This technique allows us to choose who we want to be consciously and live in alignment with our goals and values, no matter what our day throws our way.
I saw this earlier today and started thinking about how true it is, especially once you seize your life back. This is in regards to opportunities and circumstances- anything within YOUR control. As hard as it may be to believe right now, we control our realities and are responsible for our own lives.
The more beauty and positive things we look for, the more beauty and positive things we will see and experience. That confirmation bias and law of attraction is real and alters how we see ourselves and the world. Do me a favor and, as Coldplay once said, look at the stars and see how they shine for you and all the things you do (even if you have to YouTube or Google stars due to living in a city with light pollution). The sun is also a star, so you might go out and appreciate how it shines for you.
Shifting your mindset is challenging, but it’s possible. It’s also literally life-changing. For one-on-one support, I am accepting clients for programs beginning in May.
