How I Became a Bail Agent.
I am often asked how I got into bail, so I am sharing the story here. I fell into bail, completely by accident. It was not on my radar at all, had never thought of it, honestly. And then a friend called me up and said, “I have heard of this thing called a Posting Agent. Can you check into it for me?” That was at the end of December 2015. By February 2016 I was in my bail licensing class and have never looked back. FYI, a Posting Agent is someone that only post bonds at the jails without actually being the bail agent, it’s like the subcontractor of the bail world. I love this business and would not trade it for anything. I have met people from all walks of life and actually made some new, lifetime friends in the unlikeliest of places....a county jail, lol.
