Just an update: I just got back from my annual certification, and I got treated to a pup cup of ice cream along the way.
We are ready to take another bite out of crime and get the drugs off the street!

It’s been a busy week here in Price County and drug activity seemed to increase with the warmer weather. A big thanks to my fellow human deputy partners for making good traffic stops, which allowed me to get out and do my thing.
Several felony arrests were made this past week for possession of methamphetamine.

The Grinch was booked and released on community service and handed out candy during the Christmas Parade. Thanking everyone for a great turnout! Please feel free to post any pictures you may have taken in the comments.

News Flash… I apprehended the Grinch last night, once again trying to steal Christmas. The Grinch was sentenced today to community service. The community service is handing out candy at the Christmas Parade tonight. See you all there!

I’m enjoying the day after getting back from my yearly dual purpose K9 certification. The areas I tested out in were narcotic detection, building searches, apprehensions, articles, and tracking. I’m ready to hit the streets to take a bite out of crime and help get the drugs out of our community!

I thought I would post this for those interested. It looks like a good time, with good food, for a good cause. I’m particularly liking the sound of the freshly cooked brats.

I was recently sworn in, along with K9 Kane and all the human deputies for another 4 years by our re-elected Sheriff, Brian Schmidt.

We had a photo shoot and after the photographer finally got the camera working, they were able to capture these two photos to choose from for my ID card, along with an agency photo.

Just a reminder, there will be a vaccination clinic at the Ogema Fire Hall on January 14, 2023, 8a-10a. The Price County Humane Officer will also be there for dog licensing if needed.
