When visiting the desert during the Summer time, pack your favorite bikini + a cover up. When visiting during the Winter time, we recommend a hoodie. Or two. 🥶

For footwear, again, in the Summer time, nothing but flip flops ( the less you wear, the better off you are ). In the Winter time, boots + tennis shoes will do. 👟

No, the desert isn’t full of Cacti, there’s nothing to try to avoid — At least not in Bullhead / Fort Mohave. 😜

It gets hot AF here. Our highest was a whopping 126 degrees. 💀

The desert is 100% worth visiting. We live the best of both worlds. We have the Colorado River in the Summer + the open desert in the Winter ( AKA Riding SZN ). 🙌🏼

Our feed’s full of the Colorado River that flows through our tiny town but we never mention the local restaurants / bars that fuel us with great food + refreshing beverages after a long day on the river. With that being said, if we said a cold + a basket of fries or a fat burger at after a day out on the river wasn’t the perfect ending to a perfect day, we’d be lying. 😆

It’s that simple. We’ve got you covered when it comes to a roof over your head, a comfy bed + some coffee. Oh, and other things too. 😉

backyard hangs at 5AM sippin’ on some coffee + listening to the birds singing is unbeatable. 🤌🏼
