Hey everyone, here's a little mid-summer update on the new GAB album.
Basically, I'm taking my time with it. I had written a bunch of new songs taking the band in a new more guitar-centric direction and after having a lot of downtime to sit and reflect on that I've decided that with the pursuit of guitar I've let synthesizers take a little bit of a backseat, which is, honestly, unacceptable haha
So, like I said...I'm taking my time with the album and don't have a clear release date in mind. I've also not been at home in my studio for a while as I've been in the US with my wife for most of the summer. So apologies for the lack of content for the time being but as they say "good things come to those who wait" and that includes the artist themselves.

Release in 1996, this disc catapulted me into my love affair with 80's music and the 80's weren't even over for a decade at that point!
For almost 30 years I've been perusing the music the 1980's had to offer and I see no end in sight.

Glass Apple Bonzai is looking for a full-time guitarist. Preferably located in and around the Niagara Falls, Ontario area but I'm open to someone from wherever. Being able to travel is a must.

Thank You to everyone who has bought GAB songs today! I wish I had someone new to offer for Bandcamp Friday but with the album in the works I just don't have much time for other things.
It's worth the wait. I promise.

Officially reached the point where I'm excited to share the new album with people. It's not done yet but DAMN is it GOOD!

Songwriting for the new GAB album is all done! 11 primary tracks plus 5 bonus tracks. I might be so bold as to say this album slays. It's a unique mix of New Wave, Darkwave, Synthpop, and Post-Punk. Over the next several months some re-recording of parts will be done as well as post-production and I'm slating it for a Fall 2023 release date.
I can't wait for you all to hear this. It's so rad
