New President of NHS Board!

We’re excited to announce that Pam Fogt was recently elected president of Nina Haven Scholarship’s board of directors. She will succeed Judy Weber, our former executive director and longtime board president.

Born and raised in Stuart, Pam was a recipient of an NHS scholarship in 1971. She fondly remembers Paul Tenney, one of our original leaders and appreciates Stuart’s tight-knit community and the enduring connections she has with other board members. She and Larry Crary attended kindergarten together. Ken Tatje was her children’s guidance counselor, and Nick Brown’s father was her guidance counselor.

Pam is looking forward to being a part of the evolution of the Copper Key Scholarship Promise initiative, designed to break the cycle of lack of opportunity. NHS is one of four partner organizations that identify 6th and 7th graders for college scholarships along with support services for the entire family through middle school, high school, college and beyond. Copper Key scholars become members of our Alumni Network.

Congratulations, Pam!
