Tax day- If you haven't filed your 2023 tax returns, be sure to file an extension. What happens if you do not file an extension? If you owe taxes, the bill goes up by 25% for filing late. There is also a penalty for paying late, however, it is less than the filing late penalty. The best move is to file an extension and if you think you will owe, go to irs.gov and make a payment. It is easy to do. And don't forget the state. Have a great day!
Did you file your 2020 income tax returns? If not you are about to lose any refund you should have gotten. People who do not normally file a tax return need to file to get the stimulus payments that were made during Covid. IRS requires a paper tax return. It must be in the hands of the IRS, not just postmarked. Normally that would be April 15. For 2020 the date was May 17 due to the later filing date in 2020. You could be missing out on thousands of dollars.

In Santorini, Greece today. Do to wind, only 3 months of rain, and high heat, they raise grapes very low to the ground. The vines are in shape of birds nest with the grapes in the middle for protection.
