Journalistic Learning Initiative

In this age of media, all students need to know how to create their own media, and consume media intelligently.

Founded in 2015, the Journalistic Learning Initiative empowers students to find their voice through story telling skills: brainstorming, collaboration, research, source-vetting, interviewing, writing, editing, and publishing. We bring equity to education by focusing our standards-based, project-oriented, in-class and after-school programs to students in low-income and rural communities.
