Welcome Mrs. Green to the AES Team! Lizzy has 19 years teaching experience and has spent 2.5 years as a program director. She has a BA in Elementary Education from Clemson University and has worked most recently at the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center developing and implementing STEM curricula in Math, Science, and Technology in grades 4K-12 we are delighted that Mrs. Green has come to AES, she has a limited number of tutoring spaces available and she is ready to support your son or daughter this academic year
Christina returns to AES for her second year of tutoring after retiring from 37 years of teaching in both her native Romania and here in Aiken. George Hummert PhD is back teaching at AES both remotely and in person. Dr. Hummert has spent a lifetime teaching students in the STEM subjects, we are so very lucky that he continues to share his knowledge with AES students. George is available for AP calculus, AP statistics, AP physics
Mrs. Beckham has 39 years of teaching experience and she has been a member of the AES team for 8 years. Beth is an amazing Chemistry teacher including Chemistry, Chemistry II, AP, and College Chemistry through the 200. She also tutors Biology through AP. BREAKING NEWS! All of us at Aiken Educational Services are delighted to welcome Darya McMurtrie to our team. Darya will be working with our elementary students and Learning Strategies.
Darya began her career in education 17 years ago at Aiken Preparatory School and then continued on at Mead Hall Episcopal School. She has taught Kindergarten; 1st Grade; 2nd Grade; 3rd Grade Science; 5th Grade Math, Science, and Geography; and 6th/7th grade Earth Science. She also was a Team Leader and Lower School Science Coordinator. Darya also spent two years as a Student Programs Specialist at Ruth Patrick Science Education Center, teaching a variety of math and science programs to students from all over the CSRA.
