It’s time to get a little normalcy back around here!

3 weeks ago, I had so many plans for the end of the year! Plans changed. The busiest time of the year for retail and I literally had no desire to sell a thing or worry about making a buck. Even temporarily not having a job I still wasn’t worried about pushing any kind of product. That was not where my head or my heart was. I was just worried about my community and helping where ever I could!

But…this stuff has to go, and it’s time to get back to a little bit of normal around here! I have some updating on the website to do tomorrow to make sure everything is up to date!

This week has blessed my heart so much. From all the donations to dropping off all the food to talking with all of these LEO’s. As tired as I am tonight, they are beyond tired, but My heart is so full. This afternoon I took dinner to the jailers. They are kind of out of site out of mind at the moment. When I walked in with that big pot of soup, sandwiches, sweets, drinks and monsters you’d have thought someone had came in and handed them a million dollars. They just lost one of their own in this tragedy while on duty and this warm meal lifted their spirits tremendously! It’s been a busy 3 days but worth every second of it. I’m exhausted but I’d do all of this cooking and running all over the place like a chicken with my head cut off all over again to see these guys smile. I left there and the tears started to flow. They are tired, mentally and physically and they endured a loss. My heart was just flooded with emotions. Thank you everyone for the bottom of my heart for giving and being so understanding during this time. We will rebuild but it will take a long time. Please continue to pray for us and these guys that are out there working in the thick of it. 🖤💙❤️🖤

Can I PLEASE tell you how HAPPY our local sheriffs office was tonight to have a fresh hot meal?! The night shift was left with cold spaghetti that had been delivered at 12 today for the day shift! We took a HOT pot of chili, sandwiches, cookies, brownies and all the fixings for the chili! And of course a case of monsters!! Sheriff John Hayden came out and thanked us himself. There were deputies from New York there as well. We have all pulled together and have done a wonderful thing! I can’t thank y’all enough!! All of this makes my heart so happy!!!

Also a special thank you and shout out to Gary and Debbie Bennett Hargrove for donating 3 more cases of monsters!!! 🖤💙❤️
