RIP Duane Eddy, the King of Twang. My first guitar hero. When I first got on Facebook I noticed that Duane Eddy didn’t have a page, and I felt like it was simply wrong to not have a tribute to him on here. So I started the Duane Eddy "The King Of Twang" page which has been going strong for over a decade, where you can find many posts that Murray and I made over the years celebrating his legacy.
I still want to buy a Gretsch someday, and that’s largely because of Eddy. His influence is still strong.
Twang on, Duane.
