It was USA day today!! Our teachers enjoyed good ol’ Frito pie and sodas today!! Also, jump started their summer vibes with a “soda” floatie for days at the pool! 🇺🇸🌴 ⛱️☀️ Shout to our Student Council for the yummy snacks and stocking the frig with sodas! ❤️

Yesterday as part of our “Destination Appreciation - Adkins MS Teacher Appreciation Week” our teachers were treated to some tasty “British” treats! 🇬🇧 Today our NJHS students, parents and sponsor, Ms. Johnson, provided teachers with a delicious taco bar! 🇲🇽 Ended the day with an “in flight snack”! ✈️ Next stop …USA 🇺🇸!!

8th grade girls placed 1st as a team and won the CCISD Championship meet. 7th grade girls placed 2nd as a team.

James Gasiorowski set a pool record in the 200 freestyle; placed 1st in 3 events - 100 yard freestyle; 200 yard freestyle; 50 yard breaststroke

Max Carroll -1st in diving; 4th in 25 yard freestyle

Gabriella Hernandez - 1st in 50 yard breaststroke; 2nd in 100 yard IM; 4th in 50 yard freestyle

Ava Hernandez - 1st in 50 yard freestyle; 2nd in 100 yard freestyle; 3rd in 50 yard breaststroke

Ayiia Miller - 3rd in 3 events; 50 in yard freestyle; 25 yard freestyle; 50 yard backstroke

Addison Webster - 2nd in 50 yard backstroke

Andi Alaniz - 4th in 50 yard breaststroke

Jassidy Jinkins - 2nd in diving

Our Wolverines had a great weekend of tennis. Our 8th grade placed 2nd in the City Championship and several Wolverines placed in individual tennis events. Great job Adkins Tennis team and Coach Ruiz! #🎾

It’s back to back city championships for our 8th grade boys track team!! Congratulations to these young men … great job! Congrats also to our 8th grade girls track team who came in 3rd place. Shout out to our entire track and field team for an amazing season! Special shout out to our coaches, Adrian Evans, Ryan Bennett, Robert Streight and Ryan Wiatrek for their dedication to our Wolverines and our track program! #🏆
