Singapore Math teaches the “why” behind math. Instead of relying on outdated memorization drills, we teach mental math, strategy building and problem solving. Singapore Math not only offers added rigor to gifted students, it is also the best way for students with dyslexia to master math. Thinking of homeschooling next semester and worried about teaching math?
I have one 3 day a week spot open to teach a full curriculum. I specialize in teaching Singapore Math. Teaching the "why" behind math not only helps kids with problem solving, but also gives them strategies when rote memorization just isn't working. This method is great for students who need more rigor and is also proven to be the best curriculum for students with dyslexia/dyscalculia.
