Captains Flat is a natural body of sand in Duxbury Bay that is exposed when the tide is low. It’s not far from the main land and is only slightly challenging to bring a boat in through the channel when the tide is going out. Once you’re there it’s bliss. Make a point of getting there before the end of the season!
A beautiful day and an equally beautiful beach sunset to end a rainy week! 💚🤍🌅🌻🫶

Swing by Alden School’s outdoor classroom to view the beauty of a new mural that was unveiled yesterday, the last day of school. Thanks to a generous donation from a Hanlon 3rd grade class family, the mural features a butterfly theme that accompanies the education of a butterfly’s life cycle. The mural was painted by 3rd grade teachers, Mrs. Hanlon and Mrs. Miele with ideas and suggestions from both classes. “It was a real labor of love, and we’re thrilled to share the results!”
