The city of Chicago has gotten some bad press due to all of the senseless killings going on .So we as a Motorcycle community decided last year to stand up and speak on it. We would have weekly rides to show the community we are here and we stand with them against this violence. This year we plan to do a mass ride that would involve more of the motorcycle community as a whole. We want the communiti
es to feel as if they have someone standing with them that understand. We all live in these communities where the violence is taking place. The proceeds from this ride and picnic will go to help as many families as we can that have lost loved ones to gun violence. We are accepting donations as well. We are asking for monetary donations as well as toiletries i.e. soap, toothpaste/toothbrushes, detergent etc., and food /water for the picnic. Everyone is invited to this event. The picnic is a way of showing the community you can still have fun and be safe. We need to get back to the era when kids could be kids and enjoy their childhoods, not worrying about whether or not someone will start shooting. We are asking that you assist us in making this positive event a success as well as help some families in need. Most of these families are still struggling with their losses wondering how they will make it. This is our way of being their support system. But we can’t do it alone. We need you to stand with us in our efforts. The plan is to make this an annual event and grow beyond numbers. The more people involved, the more we can help these families. Bikers United started as just a few bikers giving back to the community and turned into a movement. We are asking that you join us in this movement. We appreciate your help in any form it comes. Thank you for your valued support!
