A clients reaction never gets old! Our first pop-up at was a big milestone for us. We recently transitioned from Penthouse Sweets to PHS Dessert Bar. During this event, I wanted to showcase our process of making an all-buttercream cake through a live demo.

At that time, I recalled learning about Bisa Butler, a renowned artist who had to adapt her painting technique as a new mom. To protect her child, she switched from toxic paint to using fabric, creating stunning portraits. This inspired me as a mom myself, leading me to ponder how I could simplify the time, effort, and work required to make a fondant cake into a buttercream cake? Taking care of a newborn after having my 4th C-section and standing on my feet for hours to decorate cakes wasn’t exactly what me or my body had in mind. It was in that moment that the concept of Carte Blanche celebration cakes were born.

My aim was to empower not only me, but our clients to regain control over their lives. So we streamlined the entire cake ordering and celebration process. There is no need for in-person consultations, we only require a few details, and we deliver your cake and handle logistics. We maintain constant communication with you throughout the process, ensuring a cake that is both beautiful and delicious, tailored specifically to you.
