MILLINGS AVAILABLE IN WESTPORT! Starting this week, we will have millings from municipal roads available. $100 per load within Westport, $150 for surrounding towns, FREE if you load your own truck off the mill. DM if interested.

Asphalt Repair Solutions, Inc is actively looking for a full-time Mechanic. We are a fast-growing SBE providing asphalt paving, milling/reclaiming, excavation, and other heavy civil construction services. We have a large fleet of equipment consisting of Deere, CAT, Volvo, Hamm, Wirtgen, and Vogele. Our vehicle fleet includes Chevrolet, RAM, Ford, International, Kenworth, Peterbilt, and Freightliner. Responsibilities:
• Work independently to oversee maintenance and repair of fleet of machines and trucks.
• Efficiently and correctly perform tasks.
• Perform regular maintenance and repairs to heavy machinery, vehicles, etc.
• Transport machines, parts, etc. as necessary to perform scope of work.
• Assist with loading/unloading of machines onto transport trucks and trailers.
• Track and submit reports of completed work and to company management.
• Work safely in and around construction sites in various conditions.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience maintaining and repairing various machinery required – skid-steer, front-end loader, backhoe, excavator, off-road site truck, dirt/asphalt roller, portable crushing/screening plant, grader, bulldozer, miller/trimmer, reclaimer, forklift, etc.
• Experience working with diesel motors, hydraulic motors, etc. required.
• Be able to understand written and verbal communication from foreman, management, and coworkers.
• Be able to read, understand, and implement engineered drawings, technical specs, and work orders.
• OSHA-10 or greater certification required.
• CDL is not required but is encouraged.
• Have a positive attitude and a good work ethic.
• Have reliable transportation to company location and/or project site.

Responsibilities:
• Work under the direction of foremen and/or company management to safely and efficiently complete tasks.
• Regularly drive tri-axle trucks (CDL Class B) and/or low-bed trucks (CDL Class A).
• Load, transport, and unload material and equipment safely, quickly, and efficiently.
• Perform regular inspection of truck and perform minor repairs. Assist with larger repairs if necessary.
• Occasional operation of heavy equipment may be necessary.
• Work safely in and around construction sites in various conditions.

Qualifications:
• CDL Class A or B with current medical card required.
• Previous experience driving Class A/B vehicles required – tri-axle, low-bed, etc.
• Be able to operate both manual and standard transmission trucks.
• Be able to efficiently drive trucks with and without trailer.
• Be able to understand written and verbal communication from foreman, management, and coworkers.
• OSHA-10 or greater certification required.
• Flagging certification is not required but encouraged.
• Have a positive attitude and a good work ethic.
• Have reliable transportation to company location and/or project site.

Responsibilities:
• Work under the direction of foremen and company management to safely and efficiently complete a variety of construction tasks (paving, concrete/masonry, excavation, drainage install, etc).
• Work with various hand tools, power tools, and motorized construction equipment.
• Assist with the maintenance and repair of tools, machinery, vehicles, etc.
• Be able to safely navigate a construction site in various conditions. Be prepared to work in hot/cold, rain/dry, sunny/dark, day/night.

Qualifications:
• OSHA-10 or greater certification required.
• Flagging certification is not required but encouraged.
• Be able to understand written and verbal communication from foreman, management, and coworkers.
• Have a positive attitude and a good work ethic.
• Have reliable transportation to company location and/or project site.
• Willing to train any candidate who is willing to learn!

Maybe if this paving thing doesn’t work out we’ll do equipment refurb? Our shop made quick work of the site truck and got her back in the field!

Despite the rain we celebrated the end of summer and all the hard work our employees have put in.

We'll be disposing of 3000 yards of clean silty fill in Farmington. PM if interested
