The Bonello Foundation has served the community for well over 2 decades. Through your continued generosity, we endeavor to have a further reach and a greater impact on the community.

We invite you to come out for an amazing evening with other philanthropists, business owners, entrepreneurs, and community members. Enjoy a delicious dinner, tasty libations, and scrumptious desserts. Also awards to some awesome community leaders who have also been supportive to us along the way.

The funds raised from this event will be used towards our upcoming community projects which cater to the entire family, including our weekly food distribution, mentoring & kids programs, seminars and special community events.

Last year was amazing and we are expecting an even greater time this year!

These are both 3 day teen summits designed to introduce young people to important life skills as well as having them listen to professionals in their field who have donated their time to guide the teens as they navigate their own career choices.

Workshops will include financial literacy, mental health & emotional wellness, physical health & hygiene, resume writing & job readiness, self defense, team building exercises, artistic expression & more!

Teens will receive materials, gift bags, delicious meals and optimal instruction.
The girls summit starts this Thursday (afterschool hours) also Fri 3:00-5:00 and runs to Sat 12-5p

Last year we fed hundreds of families and this year will be no different.
We are looking for volunteers donors and food sponsors to make this another successful event. And of course Chef Bonello will be on deck creating some tasty dishes for our community families! We only serve the best!

Expecting Relief’s main goal is to improve Maternal and infant health among Black, lantinx and indigenous mothers by linking expecting and new moms with the many resources that will help them have successful long term births, prevent maternal depression, post partum, help with lactation and more. The Bonello Foundations mission is to cater to the needs of men women and children in the community in various capacities. But one cause that is near and dear to me is combatting domestic violence and supporting its survivors. The statistics are too high, too many women are still being hurt, unable to defend themselves, stuck in abusive relationships and seemingly hopeless situations. This month (and every month) we need to shine the light on this “pandemic” and assist our sisters towards finding a better way. Easier said than done, but not impossible.
Violence against women must stop…it starts with us.
Educate. Empower. Edify.
And as women let us continue to build each other up instead of tearing each other down to feel better about ourselves. We never win that way

In the presence of greatness and women with hearts of gold( & mom)….I had the pleasure of being present as they accepted their awards for outstanding community service amidst a sea of other beautiful women and men who were also honored for their tenacity and relentless fight against breast and ovarian cancer. Awards were presented by who had highlighted this cause with this event for the past 7 years after losing many loved ones to both cancers. It was truly an amazing and unforgettable afternoon. Many moments of hope and reflection as I’ve also lost too many good friends and family to cancer. I also met some really awesome people who continue to fight this terrible disease.

Yet another reminder to get checked out regularly, know you’re family history, follow up on your appointments, seek out the right doctors, take care of your mental and physical health. And most importantly, you are not alone on this journey! The resources and support are out there. And there are people out here fighting for & with you!
