Our Story

I started this journey because for years my kids struggled with eczema and dry skin. I tried countless store bought products and nothing seemed to help. One day I was at a small business and saw some goat milk lotion and soap. I had always heard that these products were supposed to be amazing for skin. I was unsure at first thinking it was kinda weird, but then within days my kids skin looked amazing! That is when I knew I needed goat milk products for my family! I am a animal lover, between working in a small animal veterinary clinic to coming home and taking care of my own dogs, cats, horses. Then I did some research on goat milk products and found a blog of a woman who was going trough the same situation. In her blog she talked about how amazing it was having your own goat herd to have your own fresh goat milk. So of course I had to get goats!! That is when I turned into the crazy goat lady! It started with my two Nigerian Dwarf doelings I purchased from a good friend. Then I was addicted to them, they are the funniest, most playful sweet nature animals. I now have five goats, we recently had our first kidding on the farm and it was an amazing experience that me and my family loved. I hand milk my goats which is time consuming but I wouldn’t want it any other way. I know exactly where my milk is coming from and the love and care that goes into my goats that makes it all worth it. I can’t thank my family and friends enough for their support through all of this! I am so excited to see what the future holds for Windy Pine Farms.
