Good Saturday Morning, WPE Residents! Here's a quick update on the parks. The playground equipment is being replaced today after the tornado damage. There will be two slides. Unfortunately, one of them came in wrong, and it will be two weeks before that arrives and is installed. We will keep everyone updated. Have a great weekend.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!!!!
Please don’t allow vehicles or equipment onto the paths. It will cause damage.
UPDATE: Dumpster is now FULL. Please do not add anything else until it has been emptied. Thanks
We would like to let the Woodland Park Estates residents know that we have secured a dumpster for trash, it will be located across the street from the office at our buildings. This is only for our residents who would like to dispose of items from the storm.
Lakeview is working with the EMA on a plan to get 2 sites up and running very soon also.
The much-anticipated event of the year is only 44 days away! The Eclipse of 2024 is taking place on April 8th, and Woodland Park Estates is situated in the path of totality. We are thrilled to welcome visitors from near and far to experience this rare phenomenon in our quaint little village of Lakeview located at Indian Lake OH. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, there will be organized festivities in Downtown Lakeview from April 5th to 8th. Please be aware that traffic may slow down at certain points during this period, but there will be designated routes to keep vehicles moving. Additionally, restaurant waits may be longer than usual, and it's also advisable to bring cash as an alternative mode of payment, with the amount of visitors in the area the cell towers can become congested and phone service along with card readers will be limited. If you're familiar with the crowds during our 4th of July celebrations you already understand. Let's make the most out of this extraordinary occasion and stay safe while doing so!

Hello neighbors,
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season, and that you’re staying warm now that winter has decided to make a visit.
The reason for tonight’s post is due to a fellow Woodland Park Estates resident that had her flag (pic added) blow away during these high winds. If anyone should find it could you please let Elaine Ann Fagan know. She would greatly appreciate it as her son is active duty, and the flag was a gift.
Thank you in advance and have a great night!
We had beautiful weather for an outside gathering at the end of October. Even better we got a WIN for the WPE OSU Shelter House Party!
The chili cook off was a huge hit with 7 entries, and the big winner of the night was Jan and Howard Lambert (a little OSU Trivia… Howard is our very own celebrity here in WPE. He played for Woody Hayes 🏈)!!!
A huge shout out to everyone who brought all of the other amazing food & desserts. Everything was absolutely delicious!
We’re so sorry for the short notice on this event, but the next gathering we’ll have more of a heads up on planning & timing.
Here are a few pictures of last night’s festivities there were lots of laughs and cheering on the BUCKS to a victory!!! OH -IO ❤️
PS: Thanks for all of the pics of last night I “borrowed” a couple from FB.
All right WPE residents, it looks like we will get this game in before the snow flies! We had such a great time with the chili cook-off in the past that we decided to bring it back for another run! We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend! If you have any questions, please give us a call. GO BUCKS!
FYI
Trick or Treat for the Village of Lakeview (Logan County) is this coming Thursday October 26th from 6 pm - 7:30 pm…
Looks like it will be a perfect night with great weather for all of the little goblins to load up on treats!
Residents make sure your outside lights are on if you’ll be passing out candy. This helps everyone know which homes are participating.
We’re wishing everyone a safe a fun evening of trick or treating! 🎃 👻🦇 🍭
Hello WPE residents! I know there was some talk about having the OSU game on at the shelter house this coming weekend, but since it’s a Noon game (we need a night game) it won’t work with the projector. We’re keeping fingers crossed the next game will be a night game and that the weather holds out so we can get our chili cook off in yet this year. We will keep everyone updated as we get closer!
Thanks and GO BUCKS 🏈
The pumpkins are in place just in time for Fall to arrive on Saturday! 🍁
Lots of fun Fall activities happening this weekend and as a bonus we’re going to have beautiful weather ❤️☀️
Who’s heading to the Fall Festival at the IL Campgrounds this weekend? 🏕️🔥
Just a reminder that the County will be fog sealing West Lake Street today. If using the Woodland Park Drive entrance/exit expect some delays.
FYI Residents: The County crews will begin the chip-seal project Monday July 24th (mid morning) on West Lake Street / CR 82.
Absolutely amazing 4th of July festivities at beautiful Indian Lake!!! Love where you live 🏡🇺🇸💥❤️
For everyone planning to attend please take note of the information in this post from the Chamber.
Indian Lake Fireworks Indian Lake Fireworks are an annual tradition of Indian Lake.
FYI on traffic for the fireworks Saturday July 1st.
Fireworks Traffic Advisory
There will be NO ACCESS to Main Street from US 33 immediately following the fireworks, including the side streets (Burkhart, Warren, Clermont, Chase, and Orchard Isl Rd (SR708)). This is done for the safety of all motorists since the crossover sections can only handle a couple of vehicles before blocking intersections and obstructing traffic flow.
Main Street can be accessed by taking US 33 to Township Road 94 and turning left (west) and coming back into town.
Leaving ORCHARD ISLAND? The most efficient route is to turn left (east) at Main Street and head out of town to Township Road 94. From there you can reach US 33, or State Route 274.
Our advice…accept that traffic will be heavy at times and make this part of your Indian Lake Adventure. Get fueled up, create a traffic jam playlist or turn on your favorite radio station, be courteous to your fellow travelers, and enjoy the ride!
