Happy to annouce that I have been endorsed by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters! I thank them for their support as I now enter the general election.

As we transition to the general election, your continued support is crucial. I am hosting a fundraiser on August 14th and would be honored if you could join us and help spread the word!

1,304! That's the number of Eclipse Glasses collected at the Clinton Twp. Treasurer's Office during our Spectacles for the next Solar Spectacle program. Today we sent them to the Physics Dept at Albion College, who will send them to Astronomers Without Borders. Shout out to our Clinton Township Senior Adult Life Center Fraser Public Schools, and our community for being a part of the program. It was amazing to see that people came by our counter, just to drop off their eclipse glasses, and thanked my staff for doing this! Pleasant thought to think about the excitement, so many had just a few short months ago, and know that excitement will soon carry over to students on other continents!

I am honored to announce that I have been awarded the 2024 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate distinction award.

Tomorrow’s the day!!! Join us at 11 am at the civic center for the ground breaking ceremony for the Inclusive Playground!!

We're breaking ground on this project, Thursday, July 18th, at 11am . Here's a video of this Inclusive Playground Pals of Clinton Township, renderings. Little kid area, bigger kid area, adaptive swings, a zip line, slides, a stage and performance area, sensory features, a quite area, and even a circuit training area for adults and seniors. Wheel chair accessible.

Big thanks to State Representative Denise Mentzer, Senator Veronica Klinefelt our Committee Members that worked to plan, design and build support for this project, and the Clinton Township Board of Trustee. Macomb Intermediate School District, please share this with the families you serve in the area. Built for everyone of every ability!

Clinton Township Inclusive Playground Latest Renderings

Thrilled to announce that I have been endorsed by the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 951!

Can’t say where. The people weren’t home to give me permission. It is in a common area so I think I’m safe….but this is the coolest display I’ve seen this campaign year while door knocking. Neighbors told me that they painted some of these. Funny, Expressive, Caring, Heartfelt, Social Awareness. Beautiful display of community!

Fireworks!!!!!! As Treasurer, we go through a lot of hand sanitizer in the office. The campaign is passing some out to our residents tonight. Fun memory: My daughters used to call it “hanitzer.”
