I created a video about a month ago and a friend Matt, who is a teacher, watched it. My friend felt hope after watching the video because he was unaware that you could report rental payments.
This was a way my friend could keep score and better himself. He has been a lifetime renter and has never gained credit for this significant expense each month.
I find it hard to believe that 10, 30, or 50 points short on your credit score could hinder you from acquiring a loan, and all along you have been faithful to pay rent and never received those points.
The question to ponder does a lack of rental payments being reported ultimately affect the investor, property manager, landlord, lender, realtor, and tenant.
One thing we have learned from sports is that scoring motivates!
The investor and property manager would see less debt. The lender and realtor would close more deals. The tenant would be more motivated and accountable for making the payment due to scoring. Touchdown!!!

A pocket listing is a home that's for sale but isn't publicly listed. A real estate agent shows the home to potential buyers privately rather than immediately putting it on the public-facing Multiple Listing Service, or MLS.
A pocket listing is not the same as a "coming soon" listing. "Coming soon" is simply a designation that a home is not yet listed but will be on the market in the near future.
Is a pocket listing illegal?
Pocket listings are not illegal, but they're certainly frowned upon. The National Association of Realtors, which is the largest professional organization for real estate agents in America, effectively banned pocket listings in 2019. According to the NAR handbook, "Within one business day of marketing a property to the public, the listing broker must submit the listing to the MLS for cooperation with other MLS participants."The NAR cracked down on pocket listings in order to ensure cooperation among real estate agents (making all agents' listings widely available) and fuel competition (giving all buyers a chance at a listing and sellers the opportunity to get the best price).
However, some agents bend the rules in order to comply with NAR guidelines but still keep a listing to themselves. NAR policy says that listings must be added to the MLS within one business day of signing the listing contract with the seller. If the seller signs with a listing agent on a Friday, the agent can take advantage of the weekend to have as much as 72 hours to privately market the property.

It was 8 days ago that I started a 90-Day Journey! I am 50 years of age and face many deep wounds, disappointments, and my own failures in life. I am not interested in accomplishing or doing anything without Jesus (John 15:5, Philippians 4:13). I am more and more recognizing my heart is numb, callous, hard, and wounded in many ways. I have known this but struggled with understanding how Jesus could get down into my core to set me free. It is as if I have a veil that covers my heart and it keeps out others and God to protect myself. I also understand that my life is a microcosm of the church and our nation. We are just like Israel during the days of Nehemiah (Nehemiah 1:3), a broken nation, with our walls being broken down and gates burned with fire. It was a picture of the true state of the people.
I normally drink my coffee out of a stainless steel mug from Starbucks. I like my coffee to be at least warm for a couple of hours. The morning I started this journey, 8 days ago, I had a desire to drink out of a coffee mug with a handle. I normally don't like it that way because it gets cold too fast. I never do this in my own home. That morning I was stirred to do it. I grabbed one mug and did not see what was on it. When I pulled it out, it said journey on it with Jeremiah 29:11. I started to praise God. I could hear Papa say, "Brent, I am with you on this 90-Day Journey." You can't make this stuff up! My God is a God of relationship and one part of His mission is to fill us with the Father's love so we no longer think we are an orphan but know we are a child of the Most High.
I am sharing this with whoever chooses to read it. It is vulnerable and transparent! I want to give others hope because I know that I am not alone. I can't wait till I can share the major breakthroughs of what my God is gonna do. I can already see God at work. I love you! Amen.

Beautiful things happen in your life when you distance yourself from all the negative things. Unhappiness comes in many shades of gray. Sometimes people just lack joy. While depression, and other psychological diseases, are certainly a clinical illness and should not be minimized, there are also factors that contribute to feeling down that you can influence.
I see people everywhere wanting to change the world and that's cool. But why not start by helping one person first. Because helping one person will change that person's world in ways you couldn't imagine.
