Another happy guest. We are still working hard to get these 5 star ratings and appreciate our guests. A big thanks to this guest.
It’s that time of the year when the forest is getting dryer. That being said, campfires will not be allowed until around November.
My favorite stump, doing what it can to support the rhododendrons. This Rhody is growing on top.
Any way you look at this Rhody, is beautiful. This is the best time of the year at TSF
Spring has arrived the flowers are starting to pop and our new fire pit is available until conditions get too dry. Best time of the year.
The flowers are just starting to pop to display their beauty, at Tree Stump Farm.
This is the best time of the year.
Yesterday I was viewing a beautiful sky with the strange shaped cloud. Then I saw the jet headed toward the cloud. I could not resist taking the photo.
Tonight I noticed a little white spot to the right of the jet. Apparently this wasn’t visible to my naked eye.
TSF is a great place to watch stars, planes, satellites, meteors and whatever I captured in this photo.
Second pic is a zoomed in image of the white spec.
Finally putting the finishing touches on this project. Glad to be getting it done.
Just before the sun comes up. A very pristine winter view of our east yard. Temperature is 30.
Today February 26 we are getting a little winter weather. Kinda nice to look at.
We have had several spring like days. Absolutely beautiful weather. Can’t beat this weather.
Our latest ice storm caused a few trees to fail. Now I’m in the process of cleaning up the damaged trees. It’s a lot of hard work that I thoroughly enjoy.
Now we are under a winter weather warning for snow with wind. Hoping that damage is minimal.
A beautiful day in February. The Witch Hazel has started its annual bloom. Not sure why it always blooms out this time of the year.
Getting a little closer on our relocated fire pit area. A few more days to go.
About 9 days without power or internet. Kept the place from freezing with wood stove and generator.
Happy that the red dogwood tree survived.
A nasty ice storm has arrived at Tree Stump Farm. The power went out about 13 hours ago. I don’t see much tree damage here but at our residence in Rainbow you could hear trees breaking all day.
And now, winter weather. Glad I got this far along. Can’t wait for warm, dry weather
I’m getting closer to completion on this project. Just in time for our first winter storm.
A great place to get away.
Bring your marshmallows and hotdogs.
Work in progress. A new location for having a camp fire. Hope to have pavers installed by next spring. Until then it will available on the rock base.
Our Witch Hazel
My hike around the farm had rewards today. There are lots of mushrooms popping up. A few are edible. I love the chanterelles.
They really shrink down though.
We are into the fall season and this rose plant just doesn’t care or want to give up. This time of the year is always awesome.
Tree Stump Farm is at Level 1 now. Restrictions to some of our local attractions have been lifted. The weather has been beautiful.

I’m sure glad these guys are around.
Glad the smoke has moved north.
Tonight’s view of Lookout Fire looking north above Tokatee. The fire has moved out of our immediate area.
These guys never give up. We really appreciate all involved with fighting this fire.
