On Sunday the Skinner Overlook Team donned their sneakers and took a stroll around historic Fenway Park as part of the 2024 Boston Walk for Epilepsy. Our colleague - Eric Moorehead and his family know first hand how much this disease can alter every moment of your life. We were happy to show our support and be part of this great event.

Big shoutout to Skinner Overlook Landscape & Design for their incredible work cleaning up the PRS entrance and "Cheese Island"! 🙌 They spent THREE days (!!) and tackled PILES of thorns, debris, and dead leaves, transforming the space completely. Super flexible with timing too, working while the kids were away on vacation. HUGE HUGE thanks from all of us! Highly recommend this amazing company. 👏 huge thanks to PRS Mom and landscape extraordinaire Rachel Agiorgitis for making it happen! 🙌🙌

Taking a rainy start to the day as an opportunity to keep our employees informed and up to date on the latest landscaping techniques so that they can best serve our loyal customers. Training and safety meetings are of the utmost importance and will continue throughout the season. Capped of the session with some pizza and once the rain stopped the crews hit the road with their skills and knowledge to get the job done to perfection.

Spring 2024 Orientation is underway....everyone came together today to gear up for next week. Schedules, crew lineups, company handbooks, breakfast and lunch - we covered it all - can't wait to get the season underway and service our customers. A huge thank you to the office staff behind the scenes who without there amazing efforts this couldn't possibly have happened. Special shout out to Eastern Bank for reaching out to our staff, and especially to Astrid Hajjar for her amazing ability to connect with our employees. Skinner Overlook Landscape & Design/Tomasi Nurseries is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Garden Center/Nursery Outside Salesperson to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting our products and building relationships with developers, architects, and landscapers.

Responsibilities include:
-Conduct outside sales activities to promote and sell our garden center/nursery products and services
-Attending industry events, trade shows, and community gatherings to represent the company and expand the customer base
-Keep up to date with industry trends and product knowledge to provide expert advice on plant selection, care, and landscaping solutions

Qualifications:
-Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the garden center or nursery industry
Strong knowledge of plants, gardening, and landscaping
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Skinner Overlook Landscape & Design/ Tomasi Nurseries is seeking a talented Garden Center Manager with industry connections to manage and grow our established, successful nursery located in Pembroke, MA.
Responsibilities include:
-All operational aspects of managing a Garden Center/ Nursery as well as the strategic elements of business development
-Introduce new product lines including (but not limited to) Outdoor Furniture, Wind Chines, Bird Houses/Feeders, Landscape Products, Candles, etc.
-Represent the nursery at industry events and networking functions to create new partnerships
-Monitor stock and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand
-Develop sales strategies to promote nursery products
-Collaborate with marketing to increase visibility and attract customers
