Yoga to feel relaxed, yoga to feel grounded, yoga to feel balanced, yoga to feel peaceful, yoga to feel good! All this and more is awaiting you tomorrow morning at 9am at the Williams Grange for a mixture of vinyasa, yin, and hatha yoga. Our practice will explore pranayama (breath) techniques to calm the nervous system, which facilitates a clear mind and stimulates our prana (energy). We will also have fun exploring several sequenced asanas (yoga poses) to ease tension and pain in the body. Finally just having fun exploring your own body-mind, breath through self inquiry, truth, meditation and mindfulness.
I'm excited to see you on your mat for a yoga flow with a focus and intention to feel, "Opening your heart and surrender to what is". Giving yourself permission to center your practice around feeling everything that surfaces.

Full Corn Moon Yoga at 4pm in Murphy this Wednesday 9/6
We will gather at 8550 New Hope Rd in the Rogue Board Room. I'll have the ac on, fans going, and an air diffuser with eucalyptus and mint to better help facilitate our practice of healing the body-mind. Full Moon Yoga centers around the essence of the feminine cool energy, which we will cultivate through full moon asanas (yoga poses) and pranayama (breath) to align with the natural time for slowing down, cooling out, quietly observing our relationships (with ourselves and the world around us) and feeling and expressing gratitude.

Holding on to the past weighs oneself down, it can fester and grow into a build up of negative energy within, in turn, causing one to feel discomfort, tightness, feelings of sadness or being upset, and just all around not right. An action that one can do to remedy this state of being is a simple as:
Dropping.
Drop everything, drop the negative energy, drop wanting from others, drop feeling the need to give to others, allow yourself to feel a sense of clarity. Everything else is out or our hands and only the Universe rearranging itself, remains. Only then can we become one.
Practice the discipline of: Dropping.

Explore a fun practice that will incorporate breathe and movement to tune into our body and how we feel in each pose or asana. We will engage in mindful awareness and listen to our body and offer ourselves an expression of a pose that works best for you. You are your own best teacher.

International Yoga Day: A Paws for Pause Fundraiser!
$570 was raised in two hours for the Rogue Valley Humane Society! A big thank you to our community and all of our sponsors!
This Wednesday, practice with a purpose on June 21st to celebrate International Yoga Day. All proceeds go to support the Rogue Valley Humane Society- providing compassionate care for stray, unwanted, displaced, and abandoned animals.
Suggested donation $20- however no-one will be turned away!
Yoga today at 4pm w/ special guest Clairita Love. She will be will us to offer extra hands on assists and feel good adjustments. This is a class that is surely not to be missed, as you will be tended and cared to in every pose, to help find better body alignment, essentially helping the body release, soften and repair. See you on your mat!

International Yoga Day 2017
Our second annual International Yoga Day 2017 celebration and fundraiser is just about a month away! My yogi friends and I have been busy collaborating together to offer this wonderful evening of yoga, meditation and live music for our beloved community here in southern Oregon. This year we will be raising money for The Southern Oregon Humane Society.
